1. Sub-cold water fish?Silver carp is a typical filter-feeding fish, and its natural bait is the plankton in the water. In the process of fish farming, a lot of food residues and fish feces are produced. When these things decompose in the water, the aquaculture water will become "eutrophic", and when the water is eutrophic, a large amount of plankton will be produced. Then, by controlling the number of plankton in the water through the feeding of silver carp, the water quality can be purified. Of course, this is also what we often say, raising silver carp together with other main fish. 2. Is tilapia a warm water, mild water or cold water fish?Warm water, Tilapia, commonly known as African crucian carp, belongs to the order Perciformes, the suborder Perciformes, the family Cichlidae, and the genus Tilapia (also known as the family Cichlidae). This genus is native to Africa and has more than 600 species, of which 15 are currently farmed. Tilapia is a group of small and medium-sized fish. Its appearance and individual size are somewhat similar to crucian carp, and its fins are more like those of mandarin fish. It is a euryhaline fish that can survive in both sea and fresh water; it tolerates low oxygen and generally lives in the lower layer of water, but changes its water layer with changes in water temperature or fish size. Tilapia has a wide range of diets, most of which are omnivorous and mainly plant-based. They are very poor eaters and have a large food intake. They grow rapidly, especially in the juvenile stage. Tilapia growth is closely related to temperature, with a growth temperature of 16 to 38 degrees Celsius and an optimum temperature of 22 to 35 degrees Celsius. Tilapia was first introduced to Taiwan Province from Singapore by Wu Zhenhui and Guo Qichang in 1946. In memory of these two people, it was first called "Tilapia". It was introduced to mainland my country from Vietnam in 1957 and is also known as "Vietnamese fish". Because it is native to Africa and looks like local crucian carp, some people call it "African crucian carp". There are two kinds of tilapia introduced to Yingshan Hot Spring in Hubei: one is called Mozambique tilapia, which was brought to Yingshan Hot Spring from Jingshan County in 1972; the other is called Nile tilapia, which was introduced by Hubei Fisheries Research Institute in 1979. After they settled down, they all lived well. Dr. Modadugu Vijay Gupta of India won the 2005 World Food Prize for developing and disseminating low-cost technology for freshwater aquaculture (using tilapia). The main production area of tilapia farming in my country is the southern region. According to statistics, the production of tilapia in Guangdong, Guangxi and Fujian in 2000 exceeded 100,000 tons. Guangdong Province has always been the main production area of tilapia farming in my country. For example, the province's tilapia production in 1999 was 210,000 tons, and the tilapia farming production in 2000 reached 250,000 tons. By 2001, the tilapia farming production reached 270,000 tons, accounting for 40% of the total tilapia production in the country. The production in 2002 was 290,000 tons, 390,000 tons in 2003, and 440,000 tons in 2004, accounting for 49% of the country. Tilapia has become the largest freshwater aquaculture species after grass carp, bighead carp and silver carp. The output of tilapia in Hainan Province was more than 60,000 tons in 2000, more than 70,000 tons in 2001, and 82,000 tons in 2002. In 2003 and 2004, the output of tilapia in Hainan Province remained at about 100,000 tons, accounting for 70% of the province's freshwater fish output. As can be seen from Table 1, tilapia has become the mainstay of aquaculture in these areas. In my country's aquatic product introduction projects, tilapia is the most successful species in terms of both economic benefits and social benefits. 3. What are the fish species in the Pearl River?1. The head of the white bone fish is pointed and flat, nearly conical, and the occipital process extends to the starting point of the dorsal fin. It is a healthy mid- and lower-level fish that lives in rivers and reservoirs. It is an animalistic omnivorous fish that mainly feeds on aquatic insects. It is mainly distributed in the Pearl River system. 2. The iris rayfish is a subspecies of the iris rayfish of the genus rayfish of the family Cyprinidae. In China, it is distributed in the water systems of Hainan Island, the Yuanjiang River system in Yunnan, the Pearl River system, etc. 3. Heterosinus ming, a species of fish in the Cyprinidae family. It lives in slow-flowing areas with gravel bottoms in the upper reaches of rivers and feeds on algae. It is distributed in the Pearl River system and the Yangtze River tributaries such as the Xiangjiang River and the Fengshui River. 4. Chinese loach, a species of fish belonging to the genus Loach of the family Cobitidae in the order Cypriniformes. It is distributed in the rivers and streams south of the Yangtze River in China, widely distributed in the Pearl River system, and also distributed in the Yuanjiang River. 4. What are the fish species in Namtso? After thousands of years of evolution, Namtso Lake is home to a large number of fish, mainly scaled fish and scaleless fish. The main fish species in the lake are schizothorax of the Cyprinidae family and loach of the Cobitidae family. Among them, the schizothorax can generally grow to one or two kilograms under natural conditions, and the largest can grow to seven or eight kilograms or even dozens of kilograms. The loach can grow up to 10 cm in length. It is a bottom fish that lives in bottom waters. After hundreds of years of evolution, it has finally adapted to life in the salt water of the lake. These fish have evolved from the original fish here over the past 2 million years, as the crust rose and they adapted to the special environment of the plateau. Some of the fish in the lake still retain their original characteristics of large heads and short tails. 5. What are the fish species of Solomon Islands? There are many varieties of Solomon fish. Among them, the more common varieties are three-spot blue, red dragon, black angel, etc. In addition, there are many very rare varieties, such as black-banded ghost, etc. The main distribution areas of Solomon fish are Southeast Asia and South America. They usually have bright colors and beautiful shapes, making them the first choice for family ornamental fish. 6. What are the fish species in Nanpan River? The Nanpan River has a rich variety of fish species. The reason is that the Nanpan River is an important river in Yunnan Province, China. The river water here is affected by different altitudes and climates, creating rich biodiversity, including carp, crucian carp, black carp, grass carp, mandarin fish and many other species. In addition, the Nanpan River is one of the traditional fishing areas. Many locals make a living by fishing, which also promotes the fish resources here. 7. What are the protected fish species?Common protected fish species in my country include 1. Chinese sturgeon. Chinese sturgeon is a large upstream migratory fish unique to my country. It is also the oldest and most precious ray-finned fish on earth. Its ancestors lived in the same era as dinosaurs and are called "living fossils of ancient organisms". It is large in size but feeds gently, only eating plankton. It is mainly distributed in the main stream of the Yangtze River, and is also found in the Pearl River, Qiantang River and Minjiang River. 2. Acipenser dabryanus. Acipenser dabryanus, also known as Yangtze River sturgeon and commonly known as sand lazi, is a freshwater sedentary fish. It is similar in appearance to the Chinese sturgeon and often moves in the middle and lower layers of rivers. It is mainly distributed in the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River and also enters large lakes. It especially likes to live in river bays or deep pools with slow-flowing sandy bottoms or pebble moraine dams that are rich in humus and benthic organisms. 3. Chinese sturgeon. Chinese sturgeon, also known as Chinese spoonbill sturgeon or Chinese swordfish, is the largest freshwater fish. Because its snout is long and shaped like an elephant's trunk, it is commonly known as elephant fish or elephant nose fish. It is the oldest fish and a rare animal in the world today. Chinese sturgeon feeds on fish and is a ferocious fish. It is mainly distributed in the Yangtze River and Qiantang River. 8. What are the fish species in Shanwei?Shanwei is a city located in Guangdong Province, so the fish species in Shanwei mainly refer to the fish species commonly found in Guangdong Province. Some common fish species in Shanwei include: 1. Yellowfin snapper: Yellowfin snapper is a fish widely distributed in warm waters and is also a common fish in Shanwei area. 2. Grouper: Grouper, also known as grouper and grouper, is a kind of marine fish with delicious meat and is one of the most commonly used ingredients in Cantonese cuisine. 3. Hairtail: Hairtail is a common coastal fish and one of the common ingredients in Shanwei area. It is often used to make dishes such as smoked fish. 4. Black carp: Black carp is a freshwater fish that is also distributed in many waters in Guangdong Province. It is a fish with a unique flavor. 5. Crucian carp: Crucian carp is a common freshwater fish that is widely farmed in aquaculture farms in Guangdong Province and is also a common food in Shanwei area. These are just some of the common fish species found in the Shanwei area. 9. What are the fish species in Hunan?Since 2009, the project's expert team has completed the first comprehensive survey of aquatic biological resources such as fish in Hunan, discovering a total of 209 fish species; compiled and completed the new edition of "Hunan Fishes" and other 5 monographs, including 19 newly recorded species, including 12 fish species such as Ji's golden line barb and long-bearded heterospermia, and 7 parasites such as the black snakehead tapeworm and the Yangtze River Echinopodacus; for the first time, a systematic survey was conducted and 263 spawning grounds of fish, clams and turtles were confirmed, providing an accurate "roadmap" for the protection of fishery resources and ecological restoration. During the implementation of the project, the expert team invented soft matrix artificial fish nests and composite artificial fish nest proliferation technology, and created an artificial fish nest proliferation and restoration effect evaluation model. It has been promoted and applied in Hunan, Jiangxi, Henan, Guizhou and other provinces, and more than 50 species of fish have been proliferated, generating economic benefits of 300 million yuan, with significant ecological and social benefits. Since 2015, the expert team has innovated the "fishway + release of spawning ground broodstock + joint ecological scheduling of cascade power stations" model, implemented joint ecological scheduling of fish breeding season for the five cascade hubs of the Xiangjiang River, unblocked the fish egg drifting and hatching channels, and released more than 3,000 groups of silver carp, grass carp, bighead carp and black carp parents, injecting vitality into the "cradle of the four major carps." The expert team also compiled technical specifications for the reproduction and release of aquatic animals, technical regulations for the reproduction of freshwater artificial fish nests, and technical regulations for lake reproduction, providing technical support for the artificial reproduction of aquatic organisms in various places. 10. Is loach a warm water fish?yes. Loach is a warm-water fish with strong adaptability to the environment. It mostly lives in shallow waters such as ponds and lakes with still water or slow water flow. It usually lives at the bottom of the water. When the water is dry, it drills into the mud and can survive out of water. Loach can not only breathe with gills, but also breathe with skin and intestines. Breathing with intestines is a unique physiological phenomenon of loach. The intestinal wall of loach is thin and rich in blood vessels, which can assist breathing and gas exchange. When the water is dry in drought, it will dive into the 10-30 cm mud layer to "hibernate". A small amount of water can moisten the skin to maintain life. Loach is an omnivorous fish, and its food is animal and plant debris and microorganisms. |
