CATDOLL: What kind of insect is the natural enemy of spiders?

1. What kind of insect is the natural enemy of spiders?

Spiders have many natural enemies. Toads, frogs, mosquitoes, lizards, centipedes and birds all prey on spiders. Some parasitic wasps parasitize spider eggs, some parasitic flies develop their larvae in spider egg bags, and almost all small-headed mosquito flies parasitize spiders in the form of larvae. Spiders often use a variety of methods to defend against enemies, such as expelling venom, hiding, pseudo-bags, mimicry, protective coloration, vibration, etc. When they can't escape and their limbs are clamped by the enemy, they simply cut off their limbs and walk away. Anyway, the severed legs will regenerate when they molt.

2. What equipment should be in the aquarium for raising dragon fish? It is best to have low cost. Dragon fish experts please give me some advice!

Biochemical cotton, "about 60 yuan", put one on each side and the filtering effect can suck the fish feces on both sides into the filter tank.

Put filter cotton and ceramic ring in the filter tank. I have a 1.5 meter tank. The package includes filter, filter tank, constant temperature tube and light tube for 1800 yuan. In addition, I added another filter. This is my configuration. I plan to add medical stone in two days.

3. Which species is better, the gem dragon fish or the blue dragon fish, which has good appearance and value when grown up, and the difficulty of raising them together, as well as the cost of raising them! Which one is more suitable for beginners to raise! Please tell me

4. How did mealworms or barley worms come into being?

It is rumored that the mealworm is a mealworm that eats juvenile hormone and has grown so big because it has not pupated. I don’t know the scientific name of the mealworm. It may really be a man-made creature.

Barley worms are one of the most ideal insect feeds for dragon fish, containing 51% crude protein, 30% fat, and a variety of trace elements required for the growth of dragon fish, which can enhance growth and development, and enhance disease resistance and stress resistance!!

Just feed the barley worms with bread. It's just like raising mealworms. (See the following information)

In fact, mealworms can grow very fast and can stay in the pupae state for a long time. When mealworms are very hungry, they will pupate in large numbers. When there is enough food, they will continue to grow. Therefore, you can just raise mealworms directly. The price of mealworms is much more expensive.

As for mealworms, breeding is not difficult. Put the pupae in a container and cover them with white paper. When they emerge from their cocoons, put some green vegetables on them and they can mate and breed. Then collect the eggs together and put them in a cool place. It must not be too humid. They will hatch soon. Feed the hatched ones with flour and green vegetables.

When raising, please note:

Temperature 15 degrees, dry, away from water and greasy items,

Feeding mainly vegetable leaves and fruits and vegetables, can be combined with fish feed. (Feeding color-enhancing feed can make the insects red, and fish like it very much...)

It should be kept in a large pot. Place it in a well-ventilated place, preferably in a shaded outdoor environment (because insects have a foul smell).

Clean up insect droppings regularly.

Mealworms: Common feed for dragon fish of any size. I personally recommend it as feed for dragon fish of about 30 cm. Mealworms are also called pollen worms. They have high nutritional value, with a protein content of 47%, a fat content of 23%, and a carbohydrate content of 23%. The breeding technology is briefly described as follows:

1. Equipment preparation Choose a house with good ventilation, dryness and no rodents; the breeding trough can be made of basins, etc., which can be large or small, and the inner wall should be smooth. For large-scale breeding, the breeding trough can be customized to facilitate placement and management. The egg-laying box is made of wood and iron mesh, with the bottom made of iron mesh, and the mesh size is suitable for the insects to escape. There is an egg-collecting plate under the box. The sieve is used to separate feces. It can be customized with wood and mesh, and the mesh size is suitable for the larvae to not leak out.

2. Reproduction The growth cycle of mealworms is about 4 months, and they are completely metamorphosed insects (egg-larva-pupa-adult). It is best to select mealworms for reproduction from the larval stage, so as to optimize the improved varieties. Generally, disease-free, uninjured, large and shiny larvae are selected. After the last molting, the larvae become pupae. Pick the pupae out of the special slot for eclosion to prevent them from being bitten by the larvae. After 5-6 days, they will eclode into black adults. At this time, put the adults of the same period into the egg-laying box, and it is better to have a single one densely distributed on the bottom of each box. Place a piece of paper between the bottom of the box and the egg-receiving board as an egg-laying foil. Feed bran and lychee leaves at the same time. After about 5 days of mating and laying eggs, the egg foil can be removed and replaced with a new one. Put the egg foils taken out on the same day together, 4-6 foils per box, and sprinkle some bran on the foils. After about 6 days, milky white larvae can be hatched, and the egg foils can be taken out and transferred to larval breeding.

3. Breeding After hatching, the larvae should be carefully raised, with cornmeal and bran as the main feed. As the individual grows, the feed should be diversified. Bran, rice bran, and dry leftovers are the main feed, supplemented with fruit and melon peels and vegetable leaves. Pay attention to the number of larvae in the trough, 1.5-2 kg/trough, and divide the troughs in time if there are more. Feed should be added every 2-3 days, with a feed-larvae ratio of 1:1. The feces should be cleaned every 7 days or so. After about 3 months of breeding, it can be used as bait.

4. Management During the breeding period, frequently turn over the larvae to prevent local overheating and death. Do not feed spoiled and moldy feed and fruit, melon peels and vegetable leaves with water. Keep the room ventilated and dry to prevent moisture; prevent spraying of various pesticides. In winter, you can add a coal briquette stove or electric stove indoors to control the suitable growth temperature, which is generally controlled within 18-32℃.

V. Disease Control Mealworms have strong disease resistance, but if they are improperly managed or the environment changes suddenly, they will also develop diseases. Dry rot and soft rot are more common. 1. Dry rot: This disease often occurs in the hot and dry summer. The diseased insects dry up from head to tail and their body color turns black. Prevention and control methods: When feeding more green vegetables, add yeast powder and oxytetracycline powder to the feed. 2. Soft rot: This disease often occurs in the rainy season, when the air humidity is high, the feed becomes moldy and deteriorates, and the insects are injured and infected by bacteria. The diseased insects move slowly, their bodies turn black and soft, and they rot and die. Prevention and control methods: Keep the room ventilated and dry, reduce or stop feeding green feed, do not feed moldy and deteriorated feed, clean up leftover bait and feces, isolate the diseased insects in time, maintain a reasonable density, and feed them with chlortetracycline powder after the disease occurs.
