Classification of Mandarin Fish

There are two common species of mandarin fish, which are very similar in appearance, but the difference is that the mandarin fish (S.chuatsi, English name: Mandarinfish, Aukua) has 7 gill rakers, smaller eyes, head length 5.3-8.1 times the diameter of the eye, maxilla extending to the lower part behind the eye, 110-142 lateral line scales, scales under the cheeks, and 198-440 pyloric valgus. The bigeye mandarin fish (S.kneri, English name: Bigeye mandarinfish) has 6 gill rakers, larger eyes, head length 4.7-5.1 times the diameter of the eye, maxilla extending only to the lower part before the posterior edge of the eye, 85-98 lateral line scales, cheeks without scales, and 74-98 pyloric valgus. The Siniperca chuatsi grows fast and is large in size, commonly weighing 2-2.5 kg, and the largest individual can weigh up to 50 kg. The Bigeye Siniperca chuatsi grows slowly and is smaller in size, with the largest individual able to grow to weigh 2 kg.

The difference between mandarin fish rod and upturned mouth rod

Hardness: The hardness of the mandarin fish rod should be medium hard or medium hard, and the hardness of the black carp rod should be medium hard.

Bait weight: The bait weight for mandarin fish rod and black carp rod is about 4-20g and 4-17g respectively.

Tonality: The tonality of the mandarin fish rod should be fast or super fast, while the tonality of the black carp rod should be medium or medium-fast.

Fishing line strength: The appropriate fishing line strength for medium-hard fishing rods, straight-handle rods and gun-handle rods is 6-17LB and 10-20LB respectively. The appropriate fishing line strength for medium-hard fishing rods, straight-handle rods and gun-handle rods is 4-12LB and 8-17LB respectively.

1. Hardness: The hardness of the mandarin fish rod should be medium hard (MH) or medium hard (M).

2. Bait weight: The bait weight is about 4-20g.

3. Tonality: The tuning of mandarin fish rod should be fast-tuning (the bent part of the fishing rod accounts for about 25% of the fishing rod) or super-fast-tuning (the bent part of the fishing rod accounts for about 15% of the fishing rod).

4. Fishing line strength: If the mandarin fish rod is medium hard, the fishing line strength of the straight handle rod should be 6-17LB, and the fishing line strength of the gun handle rod should be 10-20LB. If the mandarin fish rod is medium hard, the fishing line strength of the straight handle rod should be 4-12LB, and the fishing line strength of the gun handle rod should be 8-17LB.

2. Crooked Fishing Rod

1. Hardness: The hardness of the fishing rod should be medium hardness (M).

2. Bait weight: The bait weight is about 4-17g.

3. Tone: The tone of the fishing rod should be medium (the curved part of the fishing rod accounts for one-third of the fishing rod) or medium-fast (the curved part of the fishing rod accounts for about 30% of the fishing rod).

4. Fishing line strength: For medium-hard black bass rods, the appropriate strength of the fishing line for a straight-handled rod is 4-12LB, and the appropriate strength of the fishing line for a gun-handled rod is 8-17LB.
