CATDOLL: What is the fish density?

1. What is the fish farming density?

High-yield and high-efficiency type: 100-120 kg of seedlings are put in per mu, the weight of the fish increases by 6-7 times, the weight gain rate increases by 30%, the production cost decreases by 10%-15%, and the occurrence of disease and pond flooding is reduced, reducing the risk. This type of pond is a large-scale intensive breeding base with sufficient and convenient water drainage and irrigation, and the breeding output can reach 600-700 kg/mu.

Medium-yield and profitable type: This stocking model is suitable for newly excavated intensive fish ponds and places with insufficient bonuses. Its characteristics are moderate aquaculture output, 400-500 kg per mu, but very good benefits. 60-70 kg of fingerlings are released per mu, with a small amount of fish, fast growth, small investment, high utilization rate of feed and fertilizer, targeting the advantages of market conditions, and obtaining high benefits.

2. Fish density problem

Your 550 has a unit after it, probably millimeters. Now I don't think it's much, just 8 fish, but the oxygen explosion must be sufficient, and the water must be changed frequently, because the map is a "manure machine". If you don't feed it much, it's okay. In fact, it is recommended to raise a parrot directly, and get rid of the map and replace it with parrot fish food. It's a bit crowded to say this, because the parrot is relatively large.

3. Fish Density in Fish Tanks

First of all, it depends on whether you are equipped with an oxygen pump, and secondly, it depends on the size of the fish.

(1) If you have an oxygen pump, you can raise a lot more fish. But you need to pay attention to the processing capacity of your circulation system, otherwise the water quality will deteriorate easily. Ideally, you should change the water once a month, and change about one-tenth to one-fifth of the water each time.

(2) Fish of different sizes and habits have different requirements. For example, when raising arowana, the fish tank is generally required to be wider than 60 cm and longer than 120 cm. Since arowana are top-layer fish, there is no high requirement for depth, generally more than 60 cm is sufficient.

(3) There is a rough calculation formula, which is that if you raise a 10cm long fish (the total length of the fish, usually a small fish) in 10 liters of water, you can raise about 170cm long small fish (the length of small fish is generally 3-6cm), which means you can raise about 60 to 30 fish.

However, the number of fish you raise depends on your personal preference. If you have a lot of fish, you need to feed more, and the fish excrement will be more, and the fish tank will be more polluted and need to be taken care of more frequently. Therefore, in my opinion, it is not easy to raise too many fish. You should pay proper attention to quality and not pursue quantity too much.

4. What is the density of tropical fish farming?

This is not absolute. It also depends on your hardware facilities. If the filtration is strong and the oxygen is sufficient, the density can be relatively larger. It also depends on what kind of fish you raise. Some fish like to fight, so they can only be raised alone. It also depends on the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water that the fish you raise needs.

5. Fish Stocking Density

Due to the high level of management technology, the stocking density should be correspondingly large, and each cubic meter of water can be stocked with several kilograms, dozens of kilograms, or even more than a hundred kilograms. In order to maximize the productivity of the water pond, it is necessary to determine the appropriate stocking amount to achieve full utilization of the water body and obtain the best catch and good economic benefits. It should be determined according to the specific conditions such as the structure and equipment of the water pond, the water exchange rate of the water pond, the quantity and quality of feed, the feeding method, and the management level of the stocking method. The stocking density can be increased when the following conditions are met: the water pond equipment is relatively complete, there are more reasonable scientific management measures, and there is an environmental condition that can artificially change the water quality; the water pond has good structural performance, is not easy to accumulate pollution, has low organic oxygen consumption, and has relatively stable water quality; the water exchange rate of the pond can be improved; the bait supply is sufficient and the feed utilization rate is high; the stocking method of one release and multiple catches and rotation of catches and releases is adopted; the water in the pond has sufficient dissolved oxygen, or is equipped with aerators and other equipment. When actually stocking, the experience of previous stockings should also be summarized to determine the stocking amount that is appropriate to local conditions. For fish ponds that are stocked for the first time, calculations can be made based on estimated fish production, fish weight gain multiples and survival rate.
