The main production areas of sea cucumbers in my country are northern sea cucumbers and southern sea cucumbers. Northern sea cucumbers are mainly Liaoning sea cucumbers and Shandong sea cucumbers, while southern sea cucumbers are mainly Fujian sea cucumbers. 1. Liaoning Sea Cucumber It is mainly produced in the waters of Dalian area, and the sea cucumbers in the waters of Dalian Zhangzi Island are the most famous. Zhangzi Island is located at the southernmost tip of the Dalian Islands, 39 degrees north latitude, and belongs to the northern temperate zone. There are four distinct seasons and sufficient sunshine. The air is mild, the temperature difference between day and night is small, and the water temperature is suitable. Sosen Shensui is the most pollution-free sea area suitable for the growth of marine life. The ginseng is narrow at both ends and thick (fat) in the middle, and generally has 4-6 rows of meat thorns. Due to its slow growth rate, high nutrition storage, thick and soft body wall, brown or dark brown color, it is the best quality among sea cucumbers and is known as the "crown of ginseng". 2. Shandong Sea Cucumber It is mainly produced in the sea areas of various regions in Shandong. The shape of the sea cucumber is straight, without thickness, and is very similar to the Dalian sea cucumber. The sea water temperature in Shandong is higher than that in Dalian, so the growth rate of Shandong sea cucumbers is faster than that of Dalian sea cucumbers, so Shandong sea cucumbers do not store much nutrition. The quality is inferior to Dalian sea cucumbers, and there are more farmed ones, but the quality of the real Shandong Changdao sea cucumbers is still good, second only to Dalian sea cucumbers. 3. Fujian Sea Cucumber It is mainly produced in the waters of Fujian. There are two types of Fujian sea cucumbers. One is the local Fujian sea cucumber, and the other is the Shandong sea cucumber seedlings raised in Fujian. 1) Fujian native ginseng has a lighter color, round ends, is generally thick, has no spines, has no dormancy when the water temperature is high, grows too fast, has no nutritional value, and is cultivated at a high density. 2) Shandong seedlings, raised in Fujian. Due to the geographical location, the spines of Fujian sea cucumbers are all bald. Now some people use Shandong sea cucumber seedlings and bring them to Fujian for breeding. This way, the sea cucumbers have spines and their growth cycle is shortened, but the meat is loose and has no nutrition. It will become rotten after cooking for 20-30 minutes, and the breeding density is high. |
