How to catch sea pike? What do they eat? How deep do they go?

1. Autumn is the best season for fishing for pike. Generally speaking, when the tide rises to 80%, pike will start to feed. When the tide rises to 80%, it will just retreat after a period of stagnation. This is the stage of crazy feeding for pike. When the tide retreats to 20%, it will stop feeding. There will be two such tides a day, and each time the pike feeds for more than two hours, which means that these two hours are the best time to fish for pike. 2. Pike are quite picky eaters, so they have strict requirements on bait. It is best to use water silkworms to fish for pike. Of course, other silkworms can also be used, but they are not as effective as water silkworms. It is best to use semi-rotten silkworms when fishing, because pike eat humus food, so semi-rotten ones are used. Such sandworms are both hook-loving and pike love to eat. 3. Pike should be fished at a fishing spot with many people. Because there are more people, there are more rods, and more rods mean more bait. Once the fish is caught at this fishing spot, the pike will swim back and forth near the dense circle formed by the bait to find food. If there are fewer people and fewer rods, this effect cannot be formed. 4. Selection of fishing rods. Generally, it depends on how far the fish is from the shore. If it is within 30 meters, a 3.5-meter sea rod is usually enough. I usually use a 4-meter long cast to catch pike, in case the fish are far away from the shore. 5. Tie at least five hooks to the fishing rig, with a distance of about 25 cm between the two hooks. Fishing gear stores sell ready-made hooks, and the hooks can be replaced according to the size of the pike. Put a lead sinker at the bottom of the bottom hook. The weight should be determined by the distance of the casting rod and the speed of the water flow. A lead sinker of 100 to 200 grams is commonly used. Put a float with the buoyancy of a ping-pong ball on the top of the top hook. The purpose is to make the fishing rig go up and down in the water straightly, so as to catch pike in different water layers.

Can pike be used to enlarge the material?

Barracuda needs to be fed with larger feed.

The barracuda is covered with round scales. The back is blue-gray, the belly is light gray, and the scales on both sides have black vertical stripes. It is a near-shore fish that likes to live in river estuaries and bays, and also enters fresh water. It is lively and good at jumping. It often swims upstream in groups in the upstream and eats organic matter in the mud at the bottom of the water. It is relatively large in size and is produced in the South China Sea, East China Sea, Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea in China.

The barracuda has a long and slender body, and the largest barracuda can grow up to 1.8 meters long. The barracuda has a short and wide head, and large scales. The dorsal side of the barracuda is blue-gray, the ventral side is light gray, and the scales on both sides have black vertical stripes. The barracuda lives in coastal areas, river estuaries, or salt water. The barracuda likes to live in groups and feeds on organic matter in the mud at the bottom of the water.

Living habits

Under artificial breeding conditions, they also like to eat rice bran, soybean cake powder, peanut cake powder, dried water fleas, and artificial compound baits. The feeding intensity of pike varies between day and night, seasons, and individuals. In the daily cycle, they feed both during the day and at night, but the feeding intensity is usually greater around dawn and sunset than at night.

During the growth cycle, the 20-40 cm long pike feeds heavily; before the reproductive period, the feeding intensity is relatively high, and the esophagus and stomach are always full of food. During the reproductive period and spawning period, they rarely or even do not eat.

Migratory barracuda is a nearshore semimigratory fish. It does not migrate long distances, but can migrate over short distances and within a small area depending on the season, water temperature and its own development. Mullet often lives in shallow seas or estuaries at a depth of 1-16m. When the weather turns cold, it swims to the deep sea to hibernate.
