1. I have a freshwater silver pomfret. Is it easy to raise? Does it grow fast? How big can it grow? The fish really looks like a piranha. The boss fooled me into thinking it was a piranha.

I guess I was cheated. First of all, the price you bought is about 5CM and 40 yuan, which is a water tiger.

10 yuan is white pomfret open socks

Silver pomfret and piranha (piranha) are from the same family but are completely different concepts (in terms of ferocity)

The body color of these two fishes changes according to their living environment. They are white in a white environment and dark red in a black environment.

The way to distinguish them is that the lower jaw covers the upper jaw in a fang-like shape, which is a piranha, the upper and lower jaws are even, which is a white pomfret, or the white pomfret eats pellet feed when feeding.

If it is white pomfret, there is no need to raise it. It is the white pomfret that you buy and eat in the market.

If you really want to raise it, that's fine. It's very easy to grow and very hardy. It can basically never be killed and can grow to about 15CM long!

Ask a question and you must accept it!

Be kind! You can lose if you don't give points, but you must accept it!

Easy to keep, can grow up to about 60 cm, and is completely black when grown up. ・The belly is not red anymore. The boss is right. We have them everywhere. They eat both vegetarian and meat. Usually, fish ponds are fed with dead ducks. The bite force is greater than that of the real man-eating piranha, but not as sharp as the piranha's.

It's quite big. I don't have a big impression. But if that fish eats meat, it will also eat people after living in groups. Piranhas are colorful, not white.

2. Is the freshwater silver pomfret a piranha? Can it be eaten?

Of course you can eat it.

And it’s also a good ingredient.

White pomfret has the effect of nourishing qi and blood.

It nourishes the stomach and improves the essence. It relieves noise and lubricates the joints.

It can soften tendons and strengthen bones. It is good for indigestion.

It is very effective for spleen deficiency diarrhea, anemia, tendon dislocation and bone pain.

It is a kind of piranha. It is okay to eat it. But be careful not to get bitten by it when slaughtering it, as its teeth are very sharp.

3. Does white pomfret have many bones?

Relatively few.

The meat of white pomfret is thick and tender with few bones, and has high nutritional value and medicinal and health value. The meat of those weighing about 500 grams is the most delicious; the meat of those weighing about 1500 grams has the fragrance of mullet.
