2. How to change the water for fish?

First of all, I want to tell you to suck it up quickly. Too much fish feces will deteriorate the water quality, making the fish more likely to get sick.

Just find a soft water pipe with a diameter of about 1 cm and about 1.5 meters long, fill it with water, and then block both ends of the pipe. Put one end in the fish tank and the other end in the bucket prepared to hold dirty water, and then let go.

This way the water will flow out and you can just aim at the fish feces and suck it.

3. How to change the water for fish?

1. It is recommended to buy a filter, which is essential for fish and grass farming, and can effectively reduce the number of times you change water. If you do not grow aquatic plants but only fish, you can use upper filtration and clean the filter cotton every few days. Normally, change 1/3 of the water every 3-7 days. It is not appropriate to change the water completely, because it takes fish longer to adapt to the change in water quality, unless your water quality is already very bad. Putting activated carbon in the filter can effectively remove fishy odors and absorb impurities.

2. Use tap water directly to change the water, and leave it for 1-3 days to remove chlorine and precipitate. Boiled water cannot be used to raise fish, because the oxygen content of heated water is greatly reduced, and the water vapor partially evaporates, causing the ratio of water to the elements it contains to change. The specific gravity of water increases. Mineral water and distilled water can also be added, but there is no need to do so, because tap water is the most affordable. You can go to the aquarium store to buy a special manual water changer for changing water, which only costs a few dollars. It uses the siphon principle to change water, and the amount of water change can be controlled by yourself. Of course, if you have a ready-made water pipe, you can also use it to fill the pipe with water first, press the two ends of the water pipe with your fingers, then quickly put one end of the water pipe into the fish tank, and the other end into the bucket used for changing water. Note that the position of the water pipe outside the tank must be lower than the water pipe inside the tank. Release your fingers and the water will naturally flow into the bucket.

3. Scavengers mainly eat algae on the tank wall and leftover bait at the bottom of the tank. If they die easily, you should consider whether the water quality is not suitable. Most tropical fish need acidic soft water. In addition, this type of fish is more likely to get gastrointestinal parasites, which usually manifests as not eating much, becoming thinner and dying. It can be treated with corresponding drugs. In fact, in order to remove green algae, using moss rats, golden moss rats, etc. are more effective than scavengers, and their bodies are more delicate and not so ugly. ^^

4. Do I need to change the water frequently when raising snapper?

Are you talking about African snappers? The ones with zebra stripes? Snappers prefer old water, so you don't have to change the water often, just add some new water occasionally.

5. How to change the water for fish

There are two types of water changes: partial water change and full water change. You don't have to change the water too often, but you should insist on using a thin leather tube (you can buy a dropper at the pharmacy) to suck out the dirt deposited at the bottom of the tank every day or every other day, so as to avoid turbidity and keep the water quality good for a long time. After each time of sucking out the dirt, add water that has been trapped for more than three days, which is equal to the amount of dirty water that has been sucked out. If the fish density is not large and the water is not turbid, you don't have to rush to change a lot of water. After a week, you can suck out 3/1 of the water and then inject the same amount of well-trapped water.

When changing water, please pay attention to the following points

1. You cannot use tap water directly. The tap water must be taken out and left for three days before it can be used for fish. There is chlorine in the new water.

2. The temperature of the new water should be consistent with the water in the fish tank. The temperature difference will irritate the fish, so put the new water next to the fish tank for a few hours and the temperature will naturally be the same.

3. Do not change too much water at one time. Only one-third at most. If there is too much new water, the fish will not be able to adapt and may get sick or die.

6. How to change water when fish are sick

Change the water after soaking for 24 hours, try to raise the water temperature, and add some salt after changing the water, the proportion should not exceed 1%. Also, the water you change must be air-dried one day in advance. Sick fish need oxygen all day long, you can buy one at the flower and bird market for only a dozen yuan, it is very convenient to use, and can be used for a long time.
