CATDOLL: What fish are best to breed with Penaeus vannamei in seawater?

1. What fish are best to breed with Penaeus vannamei in seawater?

Small tropical fish are fine, such as swordfish, red light fish, and tiger barb, and these are relatively easy to raise, but it is more beautiful and safer not to raise shrimp together.

2. What should I do if I find white water in the middle and late stages of Penaeus vannamei farming?

The phenomenon of white water generally does not occur, so you need to confirm whether it is white water or foam. If it is foam, it means there are dead algae, which can be dealt with. Beihai Qunlin Biology will answer your questions.

3. What happened to the fish swimming sideways? Please help? ? The pond is mainly used to raise white shrimp and white carp. They are fine every day, but tonight they are swimming sideways. Please help?

Because the weather is stuffy, it's going to rain.

4. What can white shrimp be kept with to prevent red body disease?

At present, most of the whiteleg shrimp have been farmed for 30-60 days, with a size of 6-9 cm. At the same time, as the temperature drops, the water temperature is around 28°C, which is when the viral diseases of whiteleg shrimp (such as white spot disease and Taura syndrome) are most likely to break out. Therefore, it is recommended that farmers do the following work in disease prevention and control:

1. Turn on the aerator frequently to ensure that the water has sufficient oxygen.

2. Sprinkle quicklime regularly (10 kg/mu to 15 kg/mu); use biological agents to maintain a stable water environment.

3. Spray "bromochlorohydrin" 0.5-0.6ppm or "dibromohydrin" 0.3ppm once every 5-7 days throughout the pond; spray "quaternary ammonium salt complex iodine" 1.5ppm once every 15 days throughout the pond to kill bacteria in the water and keep the water clean.

4. Feed high-quality complete feed, and add 0.2% "polysaccharide", 0.1% "ginsenoside" and 0.2% stable Vc to the feed to enhance the immunity of shrimp.

5. For ponds with high stocking density, it is easy to catch the big ones and keep the small ones, put them on the market earlier, reduce the stocking density, and facilitate disease control.

6. Once the disease occurs, avoid abusing drugs in a hurry. If the disease reaches the market specifications, put it on the market in time. If the disease does not reach the market specifications, adjust the water quality and then use red body disinfectant to prepare medicated bait. Add 150 grams of red body disinfectant to every 100 kilograms of feed to make medicated bait. Feed it continuously for 3 days. At the same time, spray dibromocyanine compound disinfectant in the whole pond with a concentration of 0.2×10-6 for treatment.

7. Those that cannot be cured must be isolated and disinfected, and the pond water must be disinfected before being discharged; sick shrimps must be disinfected with quicklime and buried deep in the soil and must not be discarded randomly.
