CATDOLL : Why does my cat at home keep meowing?

Why does my cat at home keep meowing?

There are several reasons why your cat keeps meowing:

1. Cats may feel insecure and unable to adapt to the new living environment. In this case, kittens will keep meowing to seek comfort and security from their owners.

2. If a cat is not feeling well, such as being pregnant, having indigestion, having a fever, being hungry, being cold, or being stuffy, or has other hidden wounds on its body, it will cause the cat to keep meowing.

3. When a cat enters estrus, it will keep meowing. In this case, the cat's meowing is mainly to attract the opposite sex. If you do not plan to breed your cat, you can go to the hospital for sterilization after the estrus period ends.

4. Cats want to attract your attention. When you go out to work all day, they will feel bored or lonely. When you come home, they want to act coquettishly with you and ask you to pay more attention to them and accompany them.

5. Cats will become dissatisfied if they stay in a monotonous environment for a long time. It is best to install a springboard on the glass window so that the cat can jump up when it is alone at home during the day to watch the occasional birds flying by the window and the hustle and bustle of the outdoors.

6. Cats feel stressed. A stressed cat is likely to express its stress loudly. Cats are sensitive to change, such as a new baby or a new pet. They can feel stressed in new situations. Giving cats extra love, attention, and quiet one-on-one time can help reduce their anxiety.

7. Cats begin to age. Like people, cats can become confused as they age. If your elderly cat starts meowing, it is recommended to take your cat to the veterinarian. There are medications that can be prescribed to help cats that are confused or disoriented.
