CATDOLL : What should I do if my cat's nails bleed after being cut?

Solution to cat nail bleeding:

1. If the cat's bleeding is relatively small, the owner can perform simple hemostatic treatment and let the cat heal itself.

2. If the cat is bleeding heavily, the owner needs to press or use hemostatic drugs to stop the bleeding, then give iodine to disinfect, and finally bandage the wound with gauze.

How to prevent cat nails from bleeding:

1. Confirm where the blood line is on the cat's nails. You can clearly see a red blood line in the picture. Do not cut at that position. Reserve the transparent best position before the bleeding line for trimming.

2. Do not use human nail clippers as they can easily cause the cat's nails to crack. The shape of a cat's nails is different from that of humans, so you need to prepare special nail clippers for cats.

3. Put the cat in a comfortable position or clamp it between your thighs to secure it so it does not move and prevent it from being cut.
