What plants can't be grown with cats?

Plants that cats cannot keep:

1. Lily

Most people like to put lilies in vases at home. Experts point out that lilies contain trace amounts of stimulants. If you smell them for a long time, you will get too excited and even have trouble falling asleep at night. If a cat eats them by mistake, it can directly lead to kidney failure or even death a few hours later. So if you have a cat, you must not keep lilies.

2. Tulip

Tulips have an elegant appearance and rich colors, but their flowers contain a toxin. If humans and animals come into contact with tulips for 2-3 hours, they will feel dizzy and show symptoms of poisoning, and in severe cases, it can cause hair loss.

3. Dieffenbachia

Many people keep it for the purpose of removing formaldehyde, but the leaves and stems of the evergreen contain toxins. The toxins are oxalic acid and asparagine. If ingested, the mouth, throat, and esophagus will be inflamed. In severe cases, the vocal cords will be damaged, causing temporary "muteness", and the stomach and intestines will also be affected. People can have so many problems, let alone cats, so everyone must pay attention!

4. Oleander

The whole plant of oleander is poisonous and contains a variety of cardiac glycosides, which are highly toxic substances that can damage the human respiratory and digestive systems. If the latex of oleander is ingested by mistake, it will cause nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. If a cat accidentally ingests it, it will cause direct death. Cat owners should never keep oleander at home. It is not good for both you and your cat.

5. Mandala

Datura is like an invisible killer. It is poisonous all over. Its seeds are the most toxic, followed by its young leaves. Its flowers are anesthetic. Its flower juice can stimulate the nerve center. Swallowing it will produce excitement and may cause hallucinations. If you eat Datura flowers by mistake, excessive intake can cause excessive excitement in the nerve center and produce an inhibitory effect, causing a sudden drop in body function, and in severe cases, death. Cats are very sensitive to this flower, and eating it by mistake may cause poisoning or even death.
