The ears of Scottish Fold cats are natural. Folded ears are the product of gene mutation, and most mutations are harmful to the species. Normal cat ears stand upright, so almost all Scottish Fold cats have more or less bone defects.

Symptoms of Scottish Fold cat:

2. The tail becomes short, stiff, and unable to bend and swing, which is also an obvious symptom of the disease in Scottish Fold cats. The accompanying symptoms are swollen claws that cannot be retracted, painful when pressed, and abnormally thick soles.

3. After the onset of the disease, the Scottish Fold cat will feel body pain. In order to relieve the pain, the Scottish Fold cat will change its center of gravity by lifting its feet to reduce the pressure of the body weight on the joints.

4. The cat suddenly becomes listless and has no appetite.

5. When the cat sits upright, the pad of the hind paw cannot touch the ground and the nails grow abnormally.
