Mandarin fish breeding areas are distributed in rivers and lakes in southern my country. They mainly prey on small fish and shrimps, and their natural production is quite high. The author summarizes the artificial breeding technology of mandarin fish for reference by farmers and friends. There are many types of mandarin fish, but mandarin fish and mandarin fish are generally used for artificial breeding. Mandarin fish matures early, male fish generally mature in 1 winter, female fish mature in 2 winters, and the smallest sexually mature individual is 210 mm and weighs 250 grams. Artificial insemination can obtain more fry, and natural fry can also be caught for breeding. Mandarin fish grows fast, with a maximum weight of 10 jin, but the specifications of 0.5 jin to 1 jin are the best-selling on the market. Mandarin fish follow the law of the jungle. When there is a lack of feed, they will eat each other, affecting the survival rate. Cement pools of several dozen square meters should be used for seedlings. The water quality requires freshness and micro-flow. In addition, a small feed fish fry breeding pond should be attached. The breeding period of feed fish should be synchronized with that of mandarin fish to ensure the supply of live feed. When there are sufficient feed fish, the fry can be cultivated into summer flower fish of about 3 cm in 10-15 days, and can be transferred to adult fish breeding. The daily breeding method is to raise them alone in a special pond. The pond area is about 1 mu, and the water depth is 1.5 ~ 2 meters. The water quality should be fresh and the water flow should be kept at a low level. About 1,000 summer flower mandarin fish should be put in each mu, and wild fish such as tilapia, wheat ear fish, shrimp, or minced meat of snails and clams should be reasonably put in according to the fish stock that mandarin fish eat. The feeding amount is based on the total weight of mandarin fish cultured in the pond, and mixed breeding is generally started from May. In the adult fish pond with many wild fish, 20 ~ 40 mandarin fish can be put in, and 30 ~ 50 domestic fish can be put in at the same time. The minimum size of domestic fish should be twice that of mandarin fish. In fish ponds with more tilapia and crucian carp, more can be placed, 50-70 per mu; in ponds with excess tilapia production, about 100 tilapia per mu. Summer flowers, such as silver carp and bighead carp, should not be mixed in mandarin fish ponds, because bighead carp grows rapidly and will swallow small domestic fish. Since mandarin fish consume more oxygen than domestic fish, the water quality of mandarin fish ponds should not be too rich, and new water should be injected regularly. In the intercropping of mandarin fish in adult fish ponds, natural wild fish in the pond are mainly used as feed, and some tilapia broodstock can also be intercropped to cultivate fry as food. Ponds near rivers and lakes can irrigate ginger fry and introduce wild fish as food. Mandarin fish can grow into commercial fish of about 300 grams after 4-5 months of breeding, and 5-8 kilograms of mandarin fish can be produced per mu. Mandarin fish has a strong ability to distinguish baits and feeds on live fish and live shrimps. Even newly opened fry should be fed with fry of other fish. When they grow up, in addition to live fish, they also feed on shrimps and tadpoles. In order to balance the feeding nutrition of mandarin fish, it is necessary to feed a variety of feed fish, among which mackerel, silver carp, bighead carp, crucian carp, are all good feed fish. Under the premise of palatability, the specifications should be slightly smaller, so that mandarin fish of different sizes can be eaten, and the developed products have neat specifications and high commodity value. Feed fish with diseases such as spore worm disease, enteritis, and hemorrhagic disease shall not be fed to mandarin fish. Feed fish purchased from abroad must be careful to prevent disease infection caused by purchasing scrap fish from diseased ponds. If the water quality of the breeding pond is too dilute due to daily management factors, the mandarin fish will grow slowly and have frequent diseases; excessive fertilization leads to an increase in organic matter and oxygen consumption factors, and the water quality is easy to deteriorate. 1. Choose a fish pond with live water. Mandarin fish is a bottom fish that generally lives in rivers and lakes with slow water flow. Of course, many of them live in reservoirs. Secondly, there should be abundant aquatic herbs in the fish pond, because mandarin fish usually come out to feed at night and rest at the bottom of the water during the day. Finally, the fish pond should have a certain amount of flowing water, not stagnant water. Such a breeding site is not suitable for breeding mandarin fish. If the water quality is not properly managed, it will cause large-scale deaths and large losses. 2. Water source conditions. Water source is a necessary breeding condition for breeding mandarin fish, and it is also the most basic requirement. So when we breed mandarin fish, the requirements for water source conditions are only the following aspects: the water source for breeding should be sufficient, away from polluted areas, the water quality of the water source should be guaranteed, and the water temperature should not be too high or too low. The aquaculture pond should ensure that the water transparency is 30~40cm, the pH value is 7.0~8.5, and the dissolved oxygen is above 5mg/L. Floating waterweed belts should be set up in the pond to provide hiding places for mandarin fish and make them feel stable and safe. The appropriate range for adjusting the properties of freshwater bodies is total alkalinity of 100~300mg/L, calcium ion concentration of 80~120mg/L, and magnesium ion concentration of 40mg/L or above. 1. Water surface selection: Mandarin fish can be cultured in any water area suitable for cage culture of silver carp and bighead carp, such as rivers and reservoirs. 2. The time for stocking mandarin fish and the size of stocking. The time for stocking fish should be flexibly controlled according to the climatic conditions of each region. Generally, they can be stocked in late June or early July, and the size of the fish is 8-10cm. 3. Density of feeding: 20-25 fish/O is suitable for single culture of mandarin fish, and 6-8 fish/O is suitable for mixed culture. At the same time, the weight of bait fish to the weight of mandarin fish should be (6-8):1. |
