Is it better to hatch stone chickens from chickens or from an incubator?

Now they are basically hatched using incubators.

The Chukar is a medium-sized pheasant with 14 subspecies, 27-37 cm long and 440-580 g in weight, slightly larger than the mountain partridge. It has prominent black and chestnut spots on its flanks.

Steps for hatching chicken:

1. Disinfection of eggs and incubators

The eggs should be disinfected before artificial incubation. There are many methods of disinfection, such as chlorine disinfection, iodine disinfection, etc. In simple terms, the eggs can be disinfected by spraying with 0.5% potassium permanganate solution. If incubated in an incubator, the inside of the incubator should also be disinfected. It can be disinfected by fumigation with 7 grams of potassium permanganate per cubic meter and 14 milliliters of 40% formalin.

2. Temperature and humidity for incubation

The incubation temperature of stone eggs is about 37.6 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity is between 60% and 70%. Strictly controlling the incubation temperature and humidity is the key to ensuring the hatching rate. In the early stage of incubation, the eggs need to be turned over every 50-60 minutes, and the number can be reduced in the later stage, about every 2 hours. In the later stage of incubation, the embryo needs a lot of air, and attention should be paid to ventilation.

If the eggs need to be temporarily stored before hatching, they can be stored in a cool and ventilated place at about 16 degrees Celsius, but the storage time should not be too long. If the eggs are collected from the wild and the laying time is unknown, they can be incubated as soon as they are collected to avoid affecting the hatching rate of the eggs for too long.
