CATDOLL: What are the benefits of raising cicadas (the income of raising cicadas per acre?)

1. Is it credible that one can earn 10,000 yuan by raising cicadas on one acre of land?

Credible.

1. If calculated based on a two-year-old tree, 500 egg-laying strips can be placed per mu of forest land, and each egg branch contains more than 100 cicada eggs. If the hatching rate is 80%, each strip can hatch more than 80 cicada ants, and more than 300 catties of golden cicadas can be harvested per mu of forest land (about 110 cicadas per catty). The current market price of golden cicadas is about 30 yuan per catty, so the income per mu of forest land is about 9,000 yuan. For mature trees, 1,000-1,500 strips can be placed per mu of forest land, and the income will double accordingly.

2. Golden cicada has the characteristics of high protein, high nutrition, pure natural, pollution-free and pure green. Golden cicada is not only a traditional medicinal food, but also a commonly used Chinese medicinal material in my country. In various regions of my country, especially in the vast areas of the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River, there is a habit of eating golden cicada.

In general, the profit of raising one acre of golden cicada is very hot, and the profit margin is still huge. Golden cicada is a wild insect. As its nutritional value and medicinal value are further developed, the market demand for golden cicada is also increasing.

2. Can you make money by raising cicadas? What are the benefits of raising cicadas?

Cost and benefit analysis of breeding golden cicada

Golden cicada is a high-protein, low-fat wild insect with extremely high medicinal nutritional value and unique taste. It will become an important green health food in the future and will also become a longevity food for humans in the future.

Due to environmental destruction and the felling of trees, their living environment has been severely damaged. Coupled with the indiscriminate hunting by humans, the cicada resources have been seriously depleted, the output has dropped sharply year by year, and the market gap is huge. It has become an urgent task to carry out artificial large-scale breeding.

At present, cicada breeding mainly uses the open space under the fruit trees, and a small investment can create a big business. Compared with the traditional breeding industry, it has obvious advantages such as small investment and large returns. Now take one person managing a 10-acre cicada farm as an example to make the following benefit analysis (the breeding method is implemented according to our newly invented patented technology).

Artificially cultivated golden cicadas climb trees

(1) Investment. First, the investment in egg planting: generally, 2,000 egg branches are planted per mu, and the purchase price of each branch is 0.5 yuan in the off-season, so 1,000 yuan is required for 1 mu of egg planting; second, the investment in labor, 300 yuan per mu for the annual placement of egg branches and management (Golden Cicadas do not need to be fed for epidemic prevention, which saves a lot of labor); third, the land rental fee is 700 yuan per mu; fourth, the cost of planting willow seedlings is 600 yuan per mu for 300 trees. All the seeds are collected by yourself during the harvest season, and no other investment is required. In total, 2,600 yuan is invested per mu.

In this way, the total investment for 10 mu of land in the first year is 26,000 yuan (Note: if it is your own land, you can save 700 yuan in rent). In the second year, you need to invest 20,000 yuan plus the 26,000 yuan in the first year, a total of 46,000 yuan; in the third year, you need to invest another 20,000 yuan plus the investment in the first and second years, a total of 66,000 yuan (Note: After the second year, no investment is required for tree seeds, only egg seeds, land rent and labor costs).

(2) Profits. According to our new patented technology, the survival rate of young cicadas can reach 40%-60%, 20% will emerge in the second year, and more than 95% will emerge in the third year. Each egg branch contains an average of more than 100 cicada eggs. The survival rate is calculated as the lowest 40% (the survival rate in nature is 10%-15%). Each branch can produce 40 cicadas, and 2,000 egg branches can produce more than 80,000 cicadas (even if your technology is not so good, you can still produce about 60,000 cicadas).

The eggs are placed under the tree and hatched naturally

In 2017, the price of each golden cicada in our market was 0.6 yuan, so the income per mu was 48,000 yuan, and the income of 10 mu was more than 480,000 yuan (those with poor technology could earn more than 350,000 yuan). After deducting the three-year investment of 66,000 yuan, the net income was about 410,000 yuan, and the input-output ratio was more than 1:6 times. After three years, if the current price remains unchanged, the annual income can be more than 400,000 yuan, and the input-output ratio is 10-20 times (those with poor technology can also earn more than 8 times).

In the second year, if 20% of the cicadas are unearthed, the income can be 96,000 yuan. After deducting the total investment of 46,000 yuan in the second year, the net profit is 50,000 yuan (about 30,000 yuan for those with poor technology). This means that if the cicadas are raised according to the new technology, the cost can be recovered and a profit can be achieved in the second year. After three years, the cicada farm will enter a virtuous cycle, and the farm can save seeds and save labor.
