How to raise red-bellied piranhaHow to raise piranhas? 1. Filter Since piranhas are kept in weakly acidic water, when the water becomes turbid, it means that there is a problem with the filtration system. After checking whether the pump is working properly and whether the nitrification system has collapsed, the filtration system is overwhelmed. The more common solution is to install a filter cartridge and combine filtration with the original filtration system. 2. Water quality The overall pH value of piranhas is between 6 and 7. Unlike other ornamental fish, piranhas have a strong tolerance to the environment. When the environment is not suitable, they will not get sick immediately, but it will show in their body color. Therefore, paying attention to the changes in the body color of piranhas can indirectly tell whether the water quality has deteriorated. 3. Feeding When feeding water tigers, try to feed sterilized food, or frozen brine shrimp, bloodworms and other foods with a balanced nutrition. Try not to feed live bait directly, because the bait often contains many pathogens, which can cause water tigers to be infected with diseases. Temperature for keeping piranhas: Generally speaking, piranhas are not very demanding in terms of water temperature. The water temperature in the piranha's native place (Amazon) is maintained at an average of 25-27℃, and it is humid and rainy all year round. Although the piranha market is not fully open at present, artificial breeding is a problem. Only red-bellied piranhas can be bred. The adaptability of piranhas to water temperature has also been strengthened with the artificial breeding environment, and there is no problem even if it reaches 32 degrees. There was a fish friend who had no problem with piranhas in water temperatures of 37 degrees! In the artificial water tiger breeding environment, we can't completely restore the wild water tiger environment, we can only provide a comfortable environment for it to the maximum extent. The water temperature of the water tiger should be kept at about 29℃, which is the most comfortable for the water tiger. It is also helpful for its eating! On the other hand, it can also leave a certain temperature rise space when the water tiger is sick. However, the strength of the water tiger is absolutely top-notch among ornamental fish, and it will not easily get sick. Everyone knows this. The climate in my country is different from that in the Amazon area. Although my country's winter is divided into north and south, it is also very cold. Except for a few coastal provinces in the south, most areas in the north must be equipped with heating equipment for the aquarium. In summer, the water temperature is increasingly difficult to control. Some fish lovers habitually turn off the heating rod after the temperature just turns warm. In fact, the temperature difference between day and night is very large at this time. The low temperature at night will make fish with poor physical fitness sick. In some areas after midsummer, the water temperature can be maintained above 30 degrees for a long time. At this time, the help of air conditioning and chillers is needed. The red-bellied piranha has earned the title of the most ferocious freshwater fish in the world. Other names: Nassaurus, red-bellied water tiger, water tiger Adult body length: 20 - 30 cm Suitable temperature: 24 - 29 ℃ Water pH: PH 6.0 - 7.5 Water hardness: Grows in mid-layer waters between 4 - 18°N. Reproduction method: Oviparous Origin: Amazon River Basin in South America. Feeding Behavior: Insects, worms, crustaceans and fish. Foraging method: Varies throughout the different stages of a piranha's life. Smaller fish will forage during the day, while larger fish will forage at dawn, in the late afternoon, and in the evening. Throughout the day, the fish lurk in dark environments and ambush prey. water Winter fishing bait recipeMaking a nest is the first thing every angler does when he arrives at the fishing grounds, day after day, all year round. Most anglers think that making a nest is as simple as sending the prepared rotten food or granular feed into the nest with a nest maker. But for fishing experts, they know the importance of the proportion of the nest materials and what aspects should be paid attention to in the actual operation of making a nest. Winter is here, and based on my recent experience in winter fishing, I would like to share some views on how to make a nest for winter fishing, for anglers to try in winter fishing. Methods/Steps 1. According to climate change, we should change the position of the nest. With the coming of winter, the climate has become quite cold, and the water temperature of reservoirs, ponds and lakes has dropped sharply. Under such climatic conditions, we should pay attention to the selection and method of nesting. We must adhere to the principle of less nesting and more frequent supplementation, and plant more and harvest less. The specific method is to make more nests in places with different depths. For example, we should choose deeper waters to make nests and test fishing in the morning and evening. Because the weather is cold in the morning and evening, the water is also cooler, and the fish will swim to the deep water area to keep warm. From 11 o'clock in the morning to about 3 o'clock in the afternoon, we should go to the shallow water area to make nests and test fishing, because when the sun comes out at noon, the water temperature in the shallow water area is higher than that in the deep water area, and the fish will come here to keep warm and find food. Whether in the shallow water area or the deep water area, it is best to make nests on the left and right of our fishing position, because the activity and range of fish in winter are relatively small. We should change from passive to active, find fish to fish, and don't just make a nest and wait for the fish to come. 2. Choose nesting materials according to climate change. In summer and autumn, the water temperature is higher, and the activity and foraging desire of fish are stronger. As long as we make a nest, fish stars will appear in about half an hour, which is what we usually call nesting. But it is not like this in winter. It will take two or three hours for the nesting to be found. If the fishing position is not selected properly, sometimes it will not be found in a day. In addition to the relationship between water temperature, it is caused by the wrong nesting materials and improper fishing position selection. In summer and autumn, the main flavor should be sweet. The granular feed that fish eat all year round will also have a better effect. But it is not good in winter. My experience is that in winter, the bad food used for nesting must be added with fishy commercial bait or fresh insect bait, as well as millet soaked in medicinal wine, etc., so that it will have a better fish-attracting effect when the water temperature is cooler in winter. If we only use granular feed to make nests, because the water temperature is too low, the smell of the nesting materials will be very slow in the water, which will lead to the situation that fish cannot be attracted or the speed of attracting fish is extremely slow. Because insects can move in water and the smell of millet soaked in wine is relatively strong, if we use insect bait or millet soaked in wine to make nests, we will attract fish quickly and lay a good foundation for today's fish catch. 3. Make less bait, make up more frequently, and make more bait in a dispersed way. In winter, you can't make too much or too thick bait at one time. As long as there is the taste of bait in the nest, it's fine. Even in summer and autumn, you should avoid making too much bait. If our nest is too thick at one time, the fish will not be able to eat all the bait in the nest after it comes. When will it eat the bait on your hook? In order to attract fish in a large area, we can take the approach of making more nests, only make a small amount of bait in each nest, and then try fishing in turn, first fishing the first nest, and make a little bait before leaving the nest, that is, to keep the nest always tasteful and edible. Don't let the fish eat all at once and then run away. According to general conventions, most anglers think that the more concentrated the nest is, the better, but winter fishing is different, especially for insect baits, such as red worms, bloodworms, etc. If we make it very concentrated, it is almost a ball. If a big fish comes and eats it in a few bites, there will be nothing in the nest, and the fish cannot stay here. If we make the bait more dispersed, the insects will move in a certain range of water. The fish around will smell the insects or see the insects moving, and will come here one after another. Even if there is only one big fish, after eating this ball, there are still many balls around to continue to attract fish. The dispersion I am talking about here is not infinite dispersion. For example, we make the nest in the summer and autumn like the size of a bowl, but the nest for winter fishing should be the size of a washbasin. If it is too big, the fish will be lured to other places. Another point is that the bait for winter fishing should be relatively small and strong in taste, such as millet soaked in wine, corn silk, small granular feed, etc. The advantage of doing this is that it will not be eaten up quickly by the newly lured fish, and the strong smell will also be emitted in the cold water for a longer time. Winter fishing bait recipe There is a public account called "Wu Ge Fishing" which shares fishing recipes and fishing skills every day. You can also discuss fishing skills with Wu Ge, and you will become a fishing master within half a month! Soak two pounds of dry corn in water for a day and a night, changing the water 1-3 times during this period. Soak four pounds of dry wheat in water overnight, changing the water 1-3 times. Boil the corn for 15 minutes, then pour in the wheat and continue to boil for 15 minutes, then remove from the pot and drain the water! (Draining the water is very important) The temperature of the wheat and corn should be between 30-35 degrees. Pour in a bottle of Imperial Medicinal Wine, mix evenly, cool thoroughly, bag and seal it in the refrigerator for later use. Generally, 4 to 6 baits are used and corn is hung for fishing. When controlling the water, put your hand fork into the wheat or corn every three to five minutes to feel the temperature. When it is not hot, put the corn or wheat into a basin, shake it evenly with a bottle of Imperial Medicinal Wine, pour it into the corn or wheat, and then hold the basin with both hands... "sow" Evenly spread the seeds Just like cooking, stir it back and forth evenly, and evenly apply the medicinal wine to each grain of wheat and corn, so that the wheat and corn can fully absorb the medicinal wine~ After the seeds are cooled thoroughly, seal them in bags and place them in the refrigerator (refrigerate) Red worm |
