What the cow eats:

1. Most snails prefer to eat plants such as taro, breadfruit, fig, taro, wedelia, wedelia biflora, vegetables, mushroom bulbs, mushrooms, melon and fruit tree leaves, fungi, calamus, dense-flowered ramie, yellow rattan, Taiwan green pod leaves, yellow hibiscus, dead branches, rotten leaves, grapes, grape leaves, melon leaves, pakchoy, lettuce, melon fruits and vegetables, sweet potatoes, etc. If there are pesticide residues on the plants, snails generally will not eat them. When food is scarce, snails will eat their own kind or paper.

What snails eat:

1. Snails feed on microorganisms and humus in the soil, phytoplankton in the water, young aquatic plants, moss, etc. They also like to eat artificial feed, such as fruits and vegetables, vegetable leaves, rice bran, wheat bran, soybean powder (cakes) and various animal scraps. Snails are distributed in most parts of the country and can be caught in summer and autumn. Chinese round snails are commonly found in freshwater. They are medium-sized individuals with a shell height of about 44.4 mm and a width of 27.5 mm.

2. Snails are gastropod mollusks. They like to live in waters that are warm in winter and cool in summer, with soft bottom, abundant bait and fresh water. They especially like to gather in places with slight currents. Snails have a mixed diet, mainly eating tender stems and leaves of aquatic plants, organic debris, etc. Snails like to move and feed at night. The most suitable temperature for their growth is 20-27℃. When the water temperature rises to 15℃ in late spring and early summer, snails crawl out of their hibernating holes and feed and grow at the bottom of the water. They begin to reproduce in April, and July and August are the peak seasons for snail reproduction.
