Artificially bred flies should be equipped with lighting in the room, with more than 10 hours of light per day. Use a sieve to remove the bran, and disinfect the pupae with potassium permanganate solution (10 kg of clean water/7 g of potassium permanganate) for 10 minutes. Take out the disinfected/sterilized pupae, spread them out to dry, put them back into the plastic basin, sprinkle a little bran on them, and cover them with a woven bag to let the pupae hatch. Three days later, the pupae hatch into a large number of flies. Place the food for the flies on the edge of the hatching basin so that the flies can eat as soon as they hatch. 3. How to raise sterile flies?1. Breeding of Flies 1. Fly breeding room The indoor air must be fresh, the temperature must be maintained at 24-30℃, the relative humidity must be 50%-70%, and there must be more than 10 hours of light a day. The room must be equipped with fly cages, cage racks, thermometers and hygrometers, as well as heating, exhaust, and escape prevention equipment. 2. Fly cage production Use thick iron wire or bamboo strips to make a square fly cage with a length, height and width of 50 cm each, and cover it with plastic mesh.
