CATDOLL: What color is a squid?

Generally speaking, the color of squid changes with the surrounding environment. The fire squid also has camouflage color. The original body color of the fire squid is dark brown. If it is harassed and invaded, black, dark brown, white and yellow patterns will flash rapidly on its body surface, tentacles and head. At the moment before launching an attack, the front end of the tentacles will appear bright red.

It doesn't necessarily have to be a certain color, some squids can even change color and have the ability of chameleons.

There are small pigment sacs in the skin of squids that change color and size depending on their "mood".

Generally the most common colors are dark yellow and gray.

It changes to brighter colors when trying to scare other creatures.
