CATDOLL : CATDOLL: Some questions about traveling to Xiamen~~~~~

CATDOLL: Some questions about traveling to Xiamen~~~~~

1. The two trains are K232/K229 and K297/K300, both depart from Guangzhou East Station

K232/K229 goes from Kunming to Xiamen, passing through Guangzhou, while K297/K300 goes from Guangzhou to Xiamen. I have been to Guangzhou once, and took K232/K229 both ways. Because this train does not start in Guangzhou, it is cheaper than K297/K300, with a sleeper berth costing more than 100 yuan, while K297/K300 costs more than 200 yuan.

The departure times are similar, k232/k229 departs at 19:22 and arrives at 9:27 the next day, k297/k300 departs at 19:08 and arrives at 8:48 the next day.

2. I think it would be best to spend three days, one day at Gulangyu Island, one day at the Ring Road, and one day at shopping. If you have better physical strength, you can also compress it into two days. Go to Gulangyu Island during the day, and come back to Zhongshan Street opposite the pier for a walk. There is a "Huang Zehe" there, which is a special snack in Xiamen. The fried oysters, taro buns, and peanut soup are all very delicious. If you want to eat shacha noodles, I recommend going to Hubin Sili Shacha Noodles, which is very authentic. You can take the bus to Lianban Station, and it will cost about 8 yuan to take a taxi. The time-honored Wu Zaitian (now renamed: Jiawei Zaitian) snack shop on Datong Road is very famous, and many snacks in Xiamen can be found there , and it is very authentic. I personally recommend rice dumplings; you can start the Ring Island Road from the Convention and Exhibition Center. There are many attractions along the Ring Island Road, including Coconut Wind Village (where there are amusement facilities, strawberry garden, two- or three-person bicycles), Pearl Bay, Xiamen University Baicheng Beach, etc.; then you can go around Xiamen University. I personally think Xiamen University is very beautiful; Yuanbo Garden heard that it is not bad, but the ticket seems to be more expensive. I remember it was 60 yuan per person; for shopping, it is Zhongshan Street. There are many sculptures along the road. Korean clothes are sold on Hexiang West Road, which are more expensive. Things in Xiamen are more expensive, and there are far fewer places for shopping than in Guangzhou!

Regarding Xiamen cuisine, I found some information for you, I hope it helps

The ticket price ranges from 123 (hard seat) to 373 (soft sleeper), depending on your choice

Xiamen Travel Guide (2 Days): This is absolutely written by me, I strongly despise reposting!!

You can search for serviced apartments in Xiamen online. They only cost 80-100 RMB per night and are very clean. It is recommended to stay in the city center, such as near the train station, which is lively. You can also go shopping at night and go to the World Trade Center (mission point).

First day morning Gulangyu:

Get up at 6 o'clock. After all, it's not easy to go out, so you must make the most of it!

Experience the BRT: There is a BRT boarding point near the train station, where you can experience the fun of Xiamen BRT. (If you are not along the BRT line, you can take a taxi to the ferry.) When you arrive at the terminal, take the connecting line to the ferry.

Arrive at the ferry at 7:00: take the ferry from there to Gulangyu Island on the opposite side (remember not to buy a ticket there, only buy it when you come back).

Arrived at Gulangyu Island at 7:30, you can first look at the map billboards near the pier to identify the route. The attractions you can visit along the beach in order:

Arrive at Haoyue Garden at 8:00 (Zheng Chenggong statue. If you want to save money, you can take photos with Zheng Chenggong along the way. There is nothing to see inside.)

--〉8:40 to Shuzhuang Garden (Yes, continue to walk in the direction of this road, remember that the reference is the battery car. When you arrive at Shuzhuang Garden, there is a piano museum inside. If you are interested, you can go in and take a look. In fact, it is not very meaningful. And you have also arrived at a place on Gulangyu Island where you can enjoy the beach. Feel the taste of the sea here)

--〉9 o'clock, Sunlight Rock on the Peninsula (You can see the location of Sunlight Rock from Shuzhuang Garden. Go! This is the place I strongly urge you to go. When you stand on Sunlight Rock and face the vast ocean, you will feel like a king (crying, the sequelae of reading too many YY novels))

Then it was time to go back around 11 o'clock. We headed to the pier we just came from and took a boat back. I'll give you a map. Print it out and bring it with you so you won't get lost. Also, just follow the crowd. If there are a lot of people, they are tourists. Once you know the direction, you won't go wrong. :)

Remark:

1. Don’t buy anything on Gulangyu Island, it’s very expensive, unless you can speak Minnan dialect.

2. Don't eat lunch, we will prepare delicious food for you. So you must finish your trip to Gulangyu in the morning. So you must go out early in the morning.

3. When returning to Xiamen Island, you can take a ferry (8 oceans) or a speedboat (10 oceans, you are responsible for your own personal safety, don't try if you are not good at landlubbing)

Although I have arranged a schedule for you, it will be 12 o'clock when you return to Xiamen Island. At the ferry, take the bus to Nanputuo (I strongly recommend taking a taxi, which is definitely cheaper than Guangzhou, and it won't waste time)

Remember to ask the driver to take the Yanwu Bridge! If you don’t, you will lose 30% of your trip to Xiamen. On the Yanwu Bridge, you can feel the viaduct built on the sea, and take a good look at the whole picture of Gulangyu Island! Wow, the memory of the camera is much less!

Lunch:

When you arrive at Nanputuo, don't rush in. There is a restaurant that specializes in vegetarian meals near the temple gate near Xiamen University. Amitabha, don't kill! :) Today, I will also be a monk and taste the delicious vegetarian meals.

Afternoon itinerary:

Nanputuo

After dinner, I bought a ticket and walked into Nanputuo. I donated some money (donors are welcome), took a big stick of incense (one stick is enough, as long as the intention is there), and followed the crowd to worship.

Before leaving the temple, remember to buy a few boxes of Nanputuo pies (Ding Dong, got a quest item, a Xiamen specialty;))

Hulishan Fort

Take the bus near the entrance of Xiamen University, it's very close, so it's not a waste. Direction: Hulishan Fort, there is a bus stop sign at the bus stop.

After spending 15 minutes walking around Hulishan Fort, if it is 3 o'clock, you can choose to walk along the boardwalk by the sea. After all, there is no sea in Guangzhou, nor is there a boardwalk built on the beach. (If you don't have enough time, take a bus to Huangcuo Beach)

Huangcuo Beach: It’s a pity that it’s winter now, but what does the sea look like in winter? Bring a sister with you, and maybe a romantic story will start here.

There are electric cars that go to the convention and exhibition center here, about 5 dollars. I haven’t taken one for a long time, so I wonder if the price has increased.

Go to the Convention and Exhibition Center, spend 5 dollars, rent a telescope, you can't see Taiwan Island, but you can see Kinmen. There is also a guide next to you to explain. Not bad, compared to spending a hundred yuan to take a speedboat to see the Three Principles of the People sign, why are we always directing them

What time is it? How come I'm so hungry after just eating? Maybe I walked too far on Huandao Road. Let's quickly take the bus to the train station or ask passers-by where to take the BRT. Let's rush to the train station!

dinner

There is a World Trade Mall next to the train station, and there is a food court on the 5th floor. You can order whatever food you want, but don't let your stomach down. If you still have energy after eating, go shopping in the mall.

Secret key tasks (Xiamen specialty purchasing point, no need to reduce prices in supermarkets, save trouble and worry)

On the first floor is Wal-Mart. Push a cart and put the Xiamen, Kinmen, and Taiwan products in the cart. After all, you have to send gifts to relatives and friends when you go home. (Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong, Ding Dong... Get the task item Xiamen Specialties N;))

Come back from the World Trade Center and have a rest. Unless you don't want to go out tomorrow and you are an alcoholic, you can go to the bar street of Binglang to experience the decadent nightlife of Xiamen (don't try any XXX activities, AIDS is always around you).

Day 2 Itinerary (I really don’t have the patience to tell you the bus route, just take a taxi)

Branching points:

Part A: Food Tour (I won’t arrange a time for you, I was in a hurry yesterday, just walk around and tell the taxi driver the destination)

Earthworm jelly, octopus (West Gate of the park, you can visit Zhongshan Park after eating)

Roasted pork dumplings (at the intersection of Zhongshan Road near the Cultural Palace, stroll along Zhongshan Road after eating)

Wu Zaitian (All kinds of snacks in Xiamen, on Datong Road, you can ask passerby B (passerby A went to rest))

Huang Zehe (the one on Zhongshan Road is a time-honored brand, the ones you see in other places are chain stores that opened later, but they are still old stores)

Good delicious food (all kinds of snacks in Xiamen, on Hubin South Road. After eating, go to Bailuzhou)

Shacha noodles (Hubin Sili, this one is a little hard to find, if you can't find it, just go to Wu Zaitian or Hao Qingxiang)

If you have money in your pocket, go to a food stall and order a table of seafood. Of course, don't forget to order some Xiamen noodle soup, octopus, and earthworm jelly. You can also go to the food court behind Mingfa Commercial Plaza.

I can keep talking about Tong'an Fengrou and Tong'an Chunbing. You can definitely find them in snack bars. :)

Part B Continue the tour

Take a taxi to leave the island and go to Jimei School Village to see Aoyuan, which is the tomb of Tan Kah Kee.

Go to the Expo Park again and visit the new Xiamen attractions.

Finally, go to Sun Moon Valley to soak in the hot springs.

Be sure to remember the time of the train ticket, don't overdo it. It's written in a messy way, so read it several times to deepen your impression.

Welcome to Xiamen!

I'm in Xiamen and I don't know much about the train.

I'll give you some suggestions for the rest.

Two days is enough for fun.

Must-see attractions: 1. Gulangyu Island 2. Xiamen University, Nanputuo Temple (jointly)

3. Ring Road, two recommended places, one is the Convention and Exhibition Center, the other is Huangcuo Beach

4. Zhongshan Road.

5. Jimei University Village

6. Garden Expo Park

Recommended route: Go to Gulangyu Island on the first day, and have lunch at Zhongshan Road.

Then we went to Zhongshan Road. Next, we went to Xiamen University. If you want to worship Buddha, you can go to Nanputuo first.

After coming out, walk towards Xiamen University and exit at the gate of Baicheng School.

You can play on Baicheng Beach or visit Hulishan Fort.

You can also rent bicycles and start a leisure activity around the island.

You can take a break when you ride to Huangcuo Beach, go see the sea, or do other beach sports.

You can also go to Shaokao. If you still have energy, continue riding to the Convention and Exhibition Center

Look at the sign "One Country, Two Systems, a Unified China" and overlook the Big and Small Kinmen.

Then go back for dinner and start your nightlife.

The next day, we went to Jimei University Village and then to the Garden Expo Park.

The Garden Expo Park is too big, so I can only take a quick look.

Or have a look at it selectively.

Have a nice trip.

It is best to buy train tickets in advance, otherwise if something unexpected happens, your good mood for traveling will be ruined~

Xiamen tourism should be positioned as a leisure trip.

I suggest you stay in Xiamen on the first day. You can go to Xiamen University and stroll around the Ring Island Road. If you have fun, you can stay on the Ring Island Road at night. There are many restaurants, big restaurants or food stalls around. It is very lively. I remember that Coconut Wind Village seems to be more lively than Pearl Bay. At night, you can rent a set of tea sets to make tea, listen to the waves, look at the stars, and bask in the moonlight. (Or strolling around Zhongshan Road at night is also good. To be honest, the shops on the roadside of Zhongshan Road are nothing special. They are mainly there to attract people, haha.)

Accommodation: Hotels in Xiamen are relatively expensive, and Home Inn costs over 200. But it is relatively cost-effective. Home Inn is located at the junction of Shifu Avenue and Hubin South. It is convenient to take a taxi to anywhere.

Recommended snacks: Huangzehe peanut soup on Zhongshan Road,

There is earthworm jelly at the west gate of the park (this location is hard to find, so I suggest you give it up). There is also a roadside stall on Zhongshan Road selling earthworm jelly. I remember it was five yuan for six pieces. If you haven’t eaten it, you can try it.

Xin Nanxuan Restaurant in Hubinnan (there are snack bars: chive boxes, spring rolls, noodle soup, too many to remember. And regular restaurants),

Hubin Middle Road Little Glasses Soy Sauce (The service attitude is very average. I personally think that the taste is not as good as before after they moved, but it is still better than many food stalls. And the price is affordable and the food is fresh.)

There are barbecue restaurants all over the street. I recommend Jixiang BBQ at the intersection of Hexiang West Road and Hubin Middle Road (oysters are recommended) and Wuyi BBQ at Wenzao (grilled fish is good).

By the way, there is also a row of restaurants under the Fuyu Atlantic Ocean City, serving Thai food, Hunan wine, Sichuan cuisine, and Xiamen cuisine.

The next day, we went to Gulangyu Island, strolled around and felt the life of the island residents. Of course, we stayed in Gulangyu Island at night. There is also a road around Gulangyu Island, which takes about 3 hours to walk along the coastline. There are also those quiet alleys, mottled walls covered with creepers, tall kapok trees, and of course those early international buildings, which are all worth seeing.

Accommodation: I have already mentioned Niya and CYTS. But the price should be less than 150 (refer to a post on Tianya I saw two days ago, I am sure I have not paid attention to it).

Recommended snacks: Longtou fish balls, it is on Longtou Road, a small store, this road is hard to describe, it depends on chance. Longtou fish balls, this brand has been copied by many stores, alas ~ a bowl of five yuan.

The Beizai pancakes next to the vegetable market are delicious when they are freshly baked.

The vermicelli soup near the vegetable market is good for breakfast. But it is usually very crowded in the morning.

The Ye family glutinous rice cakes on Longtou Road are one yuan each and go great with tea.

You can buy some pies to give as gifts, many people like them. There is a very famous BABYCAT bakery now, it is said that the pies have been improved and are more palatable. Many people recommend the green tea flavor, but I haven't tried it. It is also on Longtou Road.

There is also a Zhangsanfeng milk tea shop, which is also recommended by many people, but I haven't tried it yet. It is next to Longtou Road Street Park.

My suggestion is not to have too high expectations on the so-called food stalls on the island.

On the third day, you can take the ferry back to Xiamen around noon. After lunch, you can go to Riyuegu or Cuifeng to soak in the hot springs. Both are hot spring hotels, but the hotel prices are relatively high. It seems to be around 150 per person.

If you are not interested in hot springs, then go shopping (big shopping malls recommended include Paris Spring on Zhongshan Road, L'Oreal Department Store, World Trade Plaza at the train station, SM Commercial Plaza), or go to Jimei to see Jimei University Village and Jiageng Park (to be honest, there is nothing to see)

Accommodation: Hot spring hotel, or same as the first day.

Eat: Same as the first day. Ha.

As for swimming, I remember that there are lockers in the Huandao Road area of Xiamen. It should be less than 20 yuan. I haven't been to the beach to swim for a long time, so I'm not sure. But be careful when swimming in Huandao Road, there are many undercurrents in some places. . .

Bus routes from Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport to Gulangyu Island

Route 1: Start from Puzhai, take Xiamen Line 56 (Xindian-Ferry), and arrive at Ferry. About 14.01 kilometers

Route 2: From the airport intersection, take bus No. 27 (ferry-airport) to the ferry. About 14.67 km

Route 3: From the airport intersection, take bus No. 51 (Xinglin Ditou-Ferry) to the ferry. About 15.69 km

Route 4: From Puzai, take bus No. 625 (Tongan Film and Television City-Ferry) to Ferry. About 12.81 km

Route 5: From Puzhai, take bus No. 201 (Guannan Industrial Zone - Haibin Building) to Haibin Building. About 15.66 km

Route 6: From Puzhai, take the Xiamen Line 52 (Xingnan-Ferry) and arrive at the ferry. About 13.99 kilometers

After getting off the train, the train station is a transportation center with many vehicles available...

After you find your hotel, you can go to the ferry the next day. Many cars can get to the ferry, but remember to bring change with you, as the bus doesn’t give change, and you can only get on through the front door and get off through the back door, so don’t go the wrong way… You can buy a ticket at the ferry terminal, and then… You can reach Gulangyu on the other side in 15 minutes. There are no motor vehicles there, but there are trams. I recommend going to Sunlight Rock, and the beach on Gulangyu is also nice… Don’t litter…

If you don't want to go to the beach of Gulangyu Island, you can also go to Xiamen University Baicheng Beach, where you can also see the sea. You can also go swimming if you prepare your swimming trunks... But remember to ask the water time first. If you swim out at low tide and can't come back, don't ask me for an account...- -! Walking down the road from Baicheng, you can reach Huandao Road, where the scenery is also very good, and there are restaurants, barbecue spots and other places... But consider your wallet first... Then walk down to the Convention and Exhibition Center, just take a look at the exterior... There are no activities after 9.8... Then there is also a big bus station there, find a car to go back...

The next day you can go to Wanshi Botanical Garden to have a look, but if you want to save money, remember to go there at 6 am... There is no entrance fee at that time- -+. If you have the energy, you can climb over the mountain. The other side of the mountain is also a tourist spot, Nanputuo. I heard that it is one of the ten famous temples, but I haven't confirmed it... The vegetarian food there is very good. After going down the mountain, if you still have energy, you can go to Xiamen University to have a look. The scenery is very beautiful... If you don't go over the mountain, there is a Zhongshan Park to play after you come down. If I'm not mistaken, there is a zoo on the island- -

There are also some places to visit, such as Nanhu Park on Hubin South Road, Jinbangshan Park at the railway station, and Bailuzhou in front of the government...

There is also something to do at the Haicang Bridge. The two bridge piers are the Bridge History Museum and the Science and Technology Museum. The Science and Technology Museum is on Huoshao Island and you need to take a boat from the ferry. There are many things to do at the Science and Technology Museum, such as water curtain movies, a zoo, barbecue buffet... But you must also remember your wallet... be careful not to lose too much money.

If you pass by Hubin North Road while driving, you can see egrets. Unfortunately, although OY Lake is being cleaned, it is still a bit dirty...

For shopping, Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street is the first choice, followed by the World Trade Mall at the railway station, both of which are good places to buy things. Xiamen snacks include Huang Zehe's peanut soup, and Shacha noodles are also very delicious... I recommend the "4li Shacha Noodle Shop" at Hubin 4li. For noodles and flatbreads, I recommend the Laosong Flatbread Shop opposite Datong Primary School, both of which are first-class. There is also earthworm jelly, I don't know if you dare to eat it, it is a soup made from a kind of sea worm, and it is frozen together with the worm to form a gelatinous substance, which is also superb... It is delicious and cheap in Haicang District... The others don't seem to be very authentic... But it's not bad to buy some and try it

live:

You can stay at the guesthouse of Xiamen University. There are many scenic spots around Xiamen University, and it is very lively at night, about 150. A hotel called "Dafenglou" in Xiamen University is not bad. There is "Daffodil Hotel" near the ferry, and there are "Wanyuefeng" and "Xinyingze" on Xiahe Road, which are relatively affordable hotels with good locations. Nanjing Military Region Gulangyu Sanatorium. Xiamen International Youth Hostel: No. 41, Nanhua Road (next to Xiamen University), Binyue Hotel: a famous hotel in Gulangyu. (Or the price of an apartment hotel is about 150, suite-style, with a kitchen).

In addition to what you mentioned, there are also Nanputuo tickets of 5 yuan, Hulishan Fortress 20 yuan, Huandao Road, Wanshi Botanical Garden, Haicang Bridge, and. Riguang Rock: 60.00 Shuzhuang Garden: 30.00 Haoyue Garden: 15.00• Undersea World: 70.00• Xiamen Museum: 20.00• Scenic Area Joint Tickets: 100.00 (Including the Organ Museum, Riguang Rock Scenic Area, Shuzhuang Garden Scenic Area, Haoyue Garden Scenic Area)• Drum Cruise Boat: 10.00

Jimei Aoyuan, Chen Jiageng’s former residence, and Return Hall 10 yuan

It is estimated that below 1500 is enough and there is more, but if you want to shop, you will calculate it separately.

The attractions worth seeing in Xiamen include Gulangyu, Hulishan Fort, Nanputuo Temple, Jimei, Huandao Road, etc., as well as some attractions in the suburbs around Xiamen. They are also very good. If you have time, you can also take a look at Garden Expo Park, Tong'an Film and Television City, etc. Jinjiang Inn comes from the standard three-star standard, with discounted prices and clean rooms.
