We all know that tropical fish originally live in tropical waters, so tropical fish have very strict requirements on water temperature. Without the right water temperature, they cannot survive. Different types of tropical fish have different requirements on water temperature. For example, guppies, red swordfish, black mollies and other fish species are generally fine in an environment with a water temperature of about 10°C, while angelfish, tiger barbs and other fish will be in danger of death once the water temperature is lower than 18°C. Under normal circumstances, it is best to control the water temperature of tropical fish at 20-24°C; if the fish is in the breeding period, the water temperature is best controlled at 25-28°C. In addition, it is also important to note that the temperature difference between day and night should not exceed 4°C. If the water temperature fluctuates for a long time, the fish cannot adapt. Tropical fish have such high requirements for temperature, but in most areas of my country, the indoor temperature cannot keep the tank water at the temperature required by tropical fish, so it is best to install a heating device in the aquarium. The heating tubes for tropical fish are available in 100W, 200W, 500W, 1000W and other specifications. For a single small aquarium, 100W or 200W heating tubes are sufficient. For a large aquarium, you need to choose a heating device with appropriate power according to actual needs. |
