Due to high salinity or bottom pollution, it is difficult for shrimp to shed their shells and the shells are not clean. The following measures can be taken: (1) Introduce fresh water to stimulate molting. You can extract groundwater or introduce fresh water from mountain streams into the pond to reduce the salinity of the pond water by 2 to 3 in a short period of time to stimulate molting. (2) Add 2 to 4 grams of vitamin C per kilogram of feed, preferably stable vitamin C. (3) Use tea bran to stimulate molting. After changing the water for 2 to 3 days at each high tide, the shrimp in the pond usually molts at its peak. This is because the shrimp are stimulated by fresh seawater and water flow. At this time, using 15 to 20 mg/L of tea bran can stimulate the shrimp body, allowing shrimps that have difficulty molting to molt smoothly and grow synchronously. Crush the tea bran thoroughly and soak it for more than 24 hours, then add water and sprinkle it evenly. When sprinkling, lower the water level. After stimulating with tea bran for 3 to 4 hours, quickly add fresh seawater to avoid high-concentration stimulation for too long, which will harm the shrimp. It should be done on a sunny day. Regular use of tea bran can also kill ferocious fish and pathogens, playing a role in preventing diseases and eliminating pests. |
