CATDOLL : Adverse symptoms after vaccination in cats

The adverse symptoms of cats after vaccination are mainly depression, loss of appetite, lethargy, mild vomiting and diarrhea, pain at the injection site, etc. Some kittens will have allergic reactions, such as itching all over the body, redness and swelling around the eyes, etc. Usually these symptoms will disappear in about 1 to 2 days. If they exceed three days, the cat should be taken to the pet hospital for medical treatment immediately.

Things to note when vaccinating your cat:

1. Before vaccinating the kitten, make sure it is in a completely healthy state. If the kitten is sick, it needs to be postponed.

2. It is not advisable to bathe cats after they have just been vaccinated. Because cats have relatively weak resistance after vaccination, it is best to bathe them after a week or half a month to prevent them from catching cold or being frightened and becoming sick.

3. Pay attention to feeding the cat after vaccination. Generally, cats will have a loss of appetite after vaccination. Do not force the cat to eat during this period. Give the cat time to slowly adjust and recover, and do not feed it too greasy food at this time.
