CATDOLL : Why does my cat always sleep after vaccination?

It is normal for cats to sleep all the time after vaccination. Generally, cats are prone to poor spirits, loss of appetite, drowsiness and other reactions within two days after vaccination. If they have not recovered within three days, it is best to take the cat to the pet hospital for examination.



Cats need to strengthen nutrition after vaccination, and they cannot be bathed immediately, otherwise they are prone to illness and colds. Cats will have mild vaccine reactions or stress reactions after vaccination. It is normal for them to sleep all the time. They usually recover in 1 to 2 days. During this period, the owner needs to keep the cat in a quiet environment and take warm measures.

If the condition does not improve after more than 2 days, or becomes serious, it is recommended to consult a doctor immediately for medication. Do not bathe your cat before or after the vaccination to prevent it from catching a cold.
