Can a cat over one month old take a bath?

Can a kitten over one month old take a bath?

In fact, cats can be bathed as long as their bodies can accept it.

However, it is usually recommended that owners do not bathe cats before vaccination. The main reason for this is that bathing is a relatively large stress response for cats, and stress can cause animals to have low immunity, which increases the possibility of cats getting sick.

Cats can be vaccinated as early as around 8 weeks of age. The initial vaccination is three injections, with an interval of 21 days between each injection. The rabies vaccine needs to be given again when the kitten is three months old.

Then, 15 days after all the vaccines are completed, you can take the kitten to check for antibodies to check whether the antibodies are qualified after vaccination. If they are qualified, you can bathe the cat. Therefore, it is best to start bathing the cat at about 4 months.
