Why does silver carp bleed when it is brought ashore?

The reason why silver carp bleeds after being caught is that the fish bites the hook and bleeds during the process of being dragged ashore. Another reason is that the fish is scratched by sharp objects during the process of being dragged ashore.

Why does the fish bleed when it is brought ashore? What is the reason? It may be because it was injured when it bit the hook, so it bleeds.

What is fish hemorrhagic disease?

Fish hemorrhagic disease is caused by Vibrio and Aeromonas. The onset time is from April to October in the south, from May to September in the north, and from August to September.

The disease is prevalent throughout the country, with the disease being more severe in the south than in the north. Among freshwater fish, Japanese white crucian carp, silver carp, bighead carp, bream, fry carp, and grass carp are the most seriously affected; among marine fish, flounder and seabream are also frequently affected.

Symptoms: The base of the fins of the diseased fish is red and congested, with the anal fin being the most obvious. At the same time, the muscles, oral cavity, gill filaments, lower osprey, eye sockets, intestines and other internal organs may have spot bleeding, sometimes with ascites, no food in the intestines, and congestion but no erosion.

The incidence rate is 50%-60%, and the mortality rate is 60%-70%.

Drug control. Add 20-30 grams of oxytetracycline or 1-1.5 kilograms of chloramphenicol and fungus virus cleaner to every 100 kilograms of feed. For external use, use high chlorine and compound chlorine dioxide (0.15 mg/L) or 0.7ppm copper sulfate to spray the whole pond. Then, use 500 grams of rhubarb on the first day of feeding 10,000 fish, and then reduce it by half every day. A course of treatment is 6 days.
