1. Before raising fish, you must prepare a fish tank that is not too small. This is mainly determined by the size and number of fish you raise. Pay attention to the density of the fish. At least 3 liters of water should be used to raise a 1 cm long fish; in winter, when the temperature is low and there is less feeding, you can put more fish in a more dense tank. Fish are more active in a larger space and their body color is brighter. Too high a density can easily lead to lack of oxygen in the water, deterioration of water quality, and cause fish to become sick and die.

2. When preparing new water for fish, it must be stored for a day or two, which is called water drying. The purpose is to remove some chlorine in the water and to make the temperature of the new water close to that of the old water.

3. Do not change the water temperature drastically. Fish can survive in a wide temperature range. They can survive under the ice in winter and can live normally on hot days as long as they are not exposed to the scorching sun. However, if the temperature changes drastically, it will cause illness or death. The deviation should not be too large, and generally within 4 degrees is allowed.

4. Do not change too much water at one time, otherwise the water quality will suddenly change, which will cause the fish to become uncomfortable with the water quality. The fish have adapted to living in the original water quality. If the water quality suddenly changes, the fish will not be able to adapt and will get sick or even die suddenly.
