CATDOLL: How long does it take to raise a kilo of Dinggui fish? Attached with breeding methods

Usually, wild Dinggui fish grow slowly, while artificially cultivated Dinggui fish grows fast and can grow to 1 catties in about 2 years. Dinggui fish has tender and delicious meat, especially the fish skin, which has a unique taste and is a good raw material for making raw fish skin. It has high commercial and ornamental value. Dinggui fish mainly live in still water with a lot of aquatic plants, and it is basically difficult to see its traces in fast-flowing streams.

1. How long does it take to raise Dinggui fish to one kilogram?

1. Generally, the growth rate of artificially cultivated Dinggui fish is fast, and it can grow to 1 catties in about 2 years. It grows slowly in the wild environment, and it is less than 1 catties in 3 years. Dinggui fish can reach 70cm in length. Most of them are small in size, with small eyes and wheat yellow body color. They are freshwater bottom-dwelling fish, important economic fish, and also have high ornamental value.

2. Dinggu fish mostly live in still water with much aquatic plants or slow-flowing water with muddy bottom. It is difficult to find its traces in fast-flowing streams. It can tolerate low oxygen and live in deep water areas in winter. It has strong cold resistance and is wide-temperature tolerant. It usually spawns in summer and grows rapidly. It is an omnivorous fish that mainly feeds on benthic invertebrates, algae and humus.

3. Dinggui fish has tender meat, no intramuscular bones, delicious meat, and high protein content. Especially the fish skin has a unique flavor. It is an excellent raw material for making raw fish skin and has a relatively high commercial value.

1. Cultivation and breeding

(1) Pond

The breeding pond should be 2-3 mu in area, with a water depth of about 1.5m and a water storage of about 1.2m. There should be aquatic plants in the shallow water area around the pond. At the same time, it should be easy to fill and drain water, and the water quality should be fresh and pollution-free.

(2) Disinfection

Use 75 kg of quicklime per mu to clean and disinfect the pond.

(3) Fish fry stocking

① The fry can be released one week after the pond has been disinfected. Apply organic fertilizer before release to ensure that the fry have enough plankton as starter bait.

② The stocking density should be 2-3cm when the fry are 2500-5000 per mu. They should be soaked in 3-4% salt water for 5-8 minutes before being put into the pond.

③ Generally, after 3 months of cultivation, large-sized fish with a total length of 12-16cm can be obtained.

2. Feeding and management

(1) In the initial stage of breeding, the fish are mainly fed with zooplankton, and artificial feed is supplemented in appropriate amounts. Some soy milk is fed in the early stage, and compound feed can be fed in the later stage after they have been acclimated to eating.

(2) The particle size of the feed should be slightly smaller than the fish's mouth diameter. You can use powder or micro-particle feed when you start feeding, and then switch to small-particle feed.

(3) The feeding amount should account for about 5% of the fish's body weight. The bait should be placed in the shallow water of the pond. For tench with a body length of more than 5 cm, they can be fed with compound feed after being trained. The crude protein content is 32-35%. Feeding should be done at regular times, in fixed quantities, and in designated locations to ensure the quality of the feed.

(4) Apply fertilizer regularly to ensure adequate supply of live bait.

(5) Add new water in time to adjust the water quality and apply photosynthetic bacteria regularly to improve the water quality.

(6) When breeding tench, it is not advisable to co-breed it with other fish that compete fiercely for food, such as carp, grass carp, and bighead carp. However, silver carp can be co-breeded in moderation.
