First, starvation prevention generally refers to the fact that bees are hungry in winter when flowers are in bloom. Whether the feed is of high quality and sufficient in quantity during the entire wintering period is the basis for the success or failure of bees' wintering. If the feed is of high quality, most of the food will be digested by the bees after eating, and the bee colony will be quiet and stable, with a long life span, no decline in spring, and rapid spring growth; there will be abundant nectar sources, within 2 kilometers, there will be at least two main nectar sources throughout the year, and there should also be some auxiliary nectar sources with staggered flowering periods. For nectar sources with short flowering periods and nectar flow, the bee colony is best placed in a downwind position slightly lower than the terrain of the nectar source. 1. Chinese bee: Chinese bee is called Chinese honey bee. It is not only a unique and excellent bee species in my country, but also the bee species with the longest breeding history in my country. Its advantage is that it has a strong adaptability to my country's natural environment. Its disadvantage is that its honey production performance is not as good as that of honey bees and it is easy to swarm and abandon the nest and migrate. Since Chinese honey bees have been domesticated for a short time, they are wild and have poor directional ability and are easy to get lost. Therefore, Chinese honey bees cannot be placed in rows, neatly and closely, and in the same direction as Western honey bees. When placing Chinese honey bee colonies, the distance between colonies should be farther, and they should be staggered front and back. If you want to raise bees, you must prepare the tools for raising bees, that is, beehives and bait. In fact, you can make this beehive at home by yourself, because its method is relatively simple. However, after it is done, the surrounding environment and the location of the bee farm: choose a place facing north and south, sheltered from the wind and quiet. Understand the flowering period of artificially planted fruit trees and other crops within the activity range of the bees in the bee farm, and take good protection to prevent pesticide poisoning. Understand the honey and pollen sources around the bee farm and whether there are already bee farms around. My point of view is: the first step is to be prepared to travel around and endure hardships. The second step is to find a beekeeper to learn from. Experience the hard work of beekeeping and learn the techniques. The third step is to consider what kind of bees to raise and how large the scale should be based on your own actual situation. The choice of bee species largely determines the economic benefits of beekeeping. At present, the largest scale of beekeeping in my country is the Chinese honey bee and the Italian honey bee. Among them, the Italian honey bee has a strong ability to collect large amounts of nectar, has a high honey production, but has a low honey price. In fact, human factors mainly consider the issue of scientific breeding. We cannot change the natural environment, but we can choose the beekeeping environment. So from the perspective of bee breeding, human factors that affect honey production mainly include the location of the apiary, the frequency of replacing queen bees, and the frequency of honey collection. Special feed should be used because only in this way can it better help the bees produce honey. Honey bees cannot rely on the protein in their bodies to continuously secrete royal jelly to feed the larvae. 15 to 20 days before the earliest local pollen source plants bloom, they start feeding pollen and sugar cakes to stimulate the queen bee to lay eggs and raise bees. Put the dry pollen in a container, soak it with cold boiled water or honey water, and then leave it for 6 to 12 hours, and then put it into the empty nest comb to make a pollen comb. |
