1. How to treat cotton worms in bee colonies?

Clean the wax residue and debris at the bottom of the box frequently, and eliminate old combs frequently. Keep the number of bees greater than the number of combs. If there are insects on the combs, just leave it alone if it is not serious. If it is serious, take it out and replace it with one from other healthy bee colonies.

2. There are cotton worms in the beehive and on the beehives. Is there any way to kill the cotton worms without harming the bees?

1. Frame the foundation: Punch 4 equally spaced small holes on the center line of the two side bars of the nest frame, and cross 4 25-26 thin iron wires. Pull the two ends very tight and fix them with small nails. The top of the nest foundation should be inserted into the frame groove of the upper beam, and the groove should be filled with wax. Then put it on the nest foundation wire embedding board, and use gear wire embedding to embed the frame wire into the nest foundation. The nest foundation wire embedding board is a thick board (about 15 mm thick) slightly smaller than the inner circumference of the nest frame, and a 152×5 mm wooden strip is nailed horizontally at both ends below. 2. Repair and store the nest frame: Generally, in the swarming season, the nest frame with the nest foundation installed is placed in the newly separated bee colony to build the nest. As long as the average temperature is around 15℃ and the nectar source conditions are good, nests can be built in other seasons. The built nests must be well preserved, otherwise they are easily bitten by nest insects or attract thieves. Nest insects are most likely to occur, and can be fumigated with carbon disulfide, glacial acetic acid and sulfur. You can take a closer look at this:
