CATDOLL: How to write a feasibility report on cicada breeding (How to write a feasibility report on cicada breeding)

1. How to write a feasibility report?

A feasibility report is a document that can be used to assess whether a plan or project is feasible.

It should include the background, purpose, scope, effective time and all specifications, constraints and budget of the plan or project, as well as a description of the design and a summary of a series of design materials.

A feasibility report should also give an overview of the feasibility of the project, assess the resources involved, analyze the costs and risks of the plan or project and make conclusions and recommendations based on this.

2. How to write the conclusion of a feasibility report?

The end of the feasibility report should summarize the entire text and reiterate your own opinions. In the last paragraph, you should introduce the investment value of the feasibility report for the project and its reference significance for deciding whether to finance the project. In addition, you can also briefly propose possible follow-up development measures to provide a reference basis for project implementation.

3. What are the techniques for breeding live cicadas?

1. Selecting and breeding trees

Cicadas cannot grow without trees, so it is necessary to choose dwarfing breeding trees, such as apricot trees, peach trees, apple trees or other waxy dwarfing shrub varieties. At the same time, it is necessary to prune high branches in time and plant fruit tree seedlings between trees to increase the branches for cicadas to lay eggs.

2. Construction of breeding greenhouse

When the cicadas are about to emerge from the ground, a breeding greenhouse is built in a place with convenient drainage and irrigation. Generally, one acre of land is appropriate. At the same time, a fence should be built around the breeding area using cement pillars or bamboo sticks. A bamboo pole frame is built in the middle and then iron wire is used to fix it, and then a nylon window screen is covered on the outside.

3. Pest management and epidemic prevention

After the cicadas emerge from the ground, they have strong phototropism, so they need to wait until they have molted into adults before entering the greenhouse. However, if the cicadas were unearthed within the previous week, they can be allowed to naturally molt and lay eggs after 7 days. During breeding, 10,000 cicadas are generally raised per mu per month, with males and females accounting for about 50% each. Each female cicada can lay 500-1500 eggs. Each greenhouse can breed 20 mu of cicadas. After the cicadas emerge from the ground, they can mate and lay eggs. When laying eggs, the cicadas pierce the epidermis of the branches and lay eggs in the wood. When the cicadas are laying eggs, it is best for the staff not to walk around and make noise in the greenhouse to avoid adverse effects on the cicadas. At the same time, after the cicadas emerge from the ground, the greenhouse should be well protected to prevent and control potential hazards such as toads, sparrows and mantises, ants, red flower bugs, white bassiana, and green muscardine.

4. Collect and store the eggs

In addition to collecting cicada eggs naturally, you can also build a gauze greenhouse to provide space for adults to lay eggs. You can use the fruit trees in abandoned orchards to replant fruit tree seedlings, and use cement columns or bamboo sticks to build fences and pull iron wires, and then cover the outside with nylon window screens. The adults that have emerged or collected can mate and lay eggs in it. In the later stage, you can keep the number of adults as needed, and there is no need to collect seed sources outside the soil. September is the best season for collecting golden cicada eggs in the breeding greenhouse. The 1-2 year old thin, dry and incomplete surface of the tree that has been killed by eggs, and the subcutaneous wood part is inlaid with a large number of milky white long oval eggs, which are cicada eggs. Leave 5-10 cm of egg-free branches below the egg-laying nest mark, and bundle 50-100 into a small bundle and put it into the hatching room. After natural treatment, it can be used for seed.

4. How to write a feasibility report?

A feasibility report is a feasibility study of a plan, proposal or program. Its core purpose is to determine whether the plan, proposal or program is feasible, so as to help decision makers make decisions. A feasibility report generally includes the following parts:

1. Abstract: Summarize the purpose, content, and conclusions of the feasibility assessment;

2. Mission definition: clearly defining the objectives of a plan, proposal, or program;

3. Technical feasibility: Analyze whether technical resources can meet the goals;

4. Economic feasibility: assess whether the financial resources invested can achieve the goal;

5. Social and legal feasibility: examine whether social and cultural conditions and laws and regulations affect the implementation of the plan;

6. Summary and Recommendations: Summarize the feasibility analysis and state recommendations.

5. Analysis of the artificial breeding project of golden cicada?

The prospect of artificial breeding of cicadas is immeasurable. First of all, the nutritional value of cicadas themselves is a part that we cannot ignore. However, there are very few wild cicadas now. As people's understanding of cicadas becomes deeper and deeper, the market demand is also increasing. The current market price can reach 80 to 85 yuan per catty. In fact, according to its market price, whether it is a low price or a high price, it is a relatively profitable breeding project. The number of cicadas is decreasing, and the price has been rising.

6. What are the methods and profits of breeding cicadas?

There are two situations when we breed cicadas. One is that there is a ready-made forest land for breeding cicadas, and the other is that we need to replant forest land to breed cicadas. If there is a ready-made forest land for breeding cicadas, the investment is relatively small. You only need to buy cicada egg branches, hatch them for a certain period of time, and then plant them. For breeding cicadas in existing forest land, the investment per acre is generally about 1,000-2,000 yuan. If you need to replant trees and then use them to breed cicadas, then the investment will be relatively large. To replant trees to breed cicadas, the investment per acre is generally at least 5,000 yuan.

How to breed cicadas in rural areas?

If you want to breed cicadas, you should plant bamboo willows, because bamboo willows have strong vitality and well-developed root systems, which are very suitable for breeding cicadas. If you want to breed them in existing forests, you should generally choose poplar forests, after all, there are many poplar forests in our rural areas.

Breeding cicadas is actually quite simple, mainly consisting of the following steps:

First, cicada egg branches are collected from September to November each year, and then stored until March to June of the following year for hatching. You can also directly purchase cicada egg branches online for hatching.

The branches for hatching cicada eggs are from March to June every year, and the most suitable for hatching cicada eggs are from May to June. After all, the average temperature in these two months is between 28 and 34 degrees Celsius, which is exactly the temperature at which cicadas hatch the fastest.

When there are little cicadas on the cicada egg branches, we need to transfer the cicada egg branches to the cicada breeding forest for planting. It is best to complete the planting before July every year. After all, starting from July every year, the temperature will get higher and higher, and the high temperature and scorching sun will easily kill the newly hatched cicadas. In addition, starting from July every year, it is the time for us to catch mature nymphs of cicadas, and it is easy to step on the newly hatched little cicadas.

During the period of cicada breeding, we must avoid drought, waterlogging, pesticide residues, and natural enemies of cicadas in the cicada breeding forest. In particular, we must not allow waterlogging to occur in the cicada breeding forest, because water will penetrate into the ground and drown the cicadas underground.

The cicada needs to grow underground for at least three years before it can come out of the ground in the summer three years later. At this time, we need to catch the mature nymphs of the cicada that come out of the ground at night.

How profitable is it to breed cicadas?

The market for golden cicadas is not very clear this year. After all, it is not clear whether golden cicadas can be traded this year. So I can only calculate the profit of breeding golden cicadas based on the data of 2019.

At present, one mu of cicada breeding forest land can generally produce at least 150 kilograms of mature cicada nymphs per year. Based on the 2019 price of 0.5 yuan per cicada, there are about 100 to 110 cicadas per kilogram. In other words, one kilogram of cicadas can be sold for about 50 to 55 yuan in 2019. Therefore, one mu of land for breeding cicadas can basically generate a gross income of 7,500 yuan.

After deducting various expenses, the net income from raising cicadas per mu of land is about 5,000 yuan. This is just a conservative calculation, because 150 kilograms of mature cicada nymphs per mu of land is considered a low yield. In addition, the trees in the cicada breeding forest are also a good source of income.
