1. Information about jellyfish

Jellyfish (English name: Jelly Fish): It is an important plankton in the aquatic environment and belongs to the class of cnidarians, Scyphozoa. Jellyfish is a very beautiful aquatic animal. Its body shape is like a transparent umbrella. The diameter of the umbrella-shaped body varies. The diameter of the umbrella-shaped body of a large jellyfish can reach 2 meters. There are some whisker-like tentacles on the edge of the umbrella-shaped body, and some tentacles can be as long as 20-30 meters.

The main component of the jellyfish body is water, and it is composed of two germ layers, the inner and outer germ layers. There is a thick mesoglea layer between the two layers, which is not only transparent, but also has a floating effect. When they move, they use the reflection of the water spray in their bodies to move forward. From a distance, they look like round umbrellas floating rapidly in the water; some jellyfish have umbrella-shaped bodies with various patterns. In the blue ocean, these jellyfish of different colors are very beautiful.

Whether it is tropical waters, temperate waters, shallow waters, oceans about 100 meters deep, or even freshwater areas, they can be found. Jellyfish have existed as early as 650 million years ago, and they appeared even earlier than dinosaurs. There are more than 250 species of jellyfish in the world's waters, and they are distributed in waters all over the world.
