CATDOLL: How to fertilize the water when breeding silver carp? What issues should be paid attention to?

Farming silver carp relies on adding nutrients to fertilize the water, and care should be taken to fertilize the water in clean pond water.

The so-called water fertilization is to put nutrients in the water, so that the pond water will naturally grow green algae for silver carp to eat. This process is called water fertilization. As the name suggests, food grows in the water, and the water will naturally become fertile. The method of water fertilization is relatively simple. As long as the nitrogen-containing feed is put into the pond water, the green algae in the water will naturally absorb these nitrogen-containing nutrients, so the green algae will increase, and the silver carp will eat these green algae. There are three issues to pay attention to: put it in clean pond water, put it when the temperature is suitable, and don't put too much at one time. The following explains these precautions in detail:

1. When fertilizing the water, pay attention to putting fertilizer in clean water: because there are too many bacteria in unclean water, the green algae community will not have a competitive advantage in absorbing nutrients. If you put feed in unclean water, the result is a pool of seriously polluted dirty water, full of bacteria, and silver carp will die quickly. In order to avoid this situation, the author recommends filtering the water first, or putting feed and fertilizing water when the fish pond is just filled with clean water. Remember not to fertilize water in dirty water.

2. When applying fertilizer, pay attention to the appropriate temperature: if the weather is too hot, the fertilizer will stink if it is not completely absorbed by the green algae. If the temperature is too low, the green algae will be inactive and will not absorb nutrients quickly. Therefore, whether the temperature is too high or too low, applying fertilizer at this time will cause fertilizer waste and water pollution. Therefore, the author recommends: It is most appropriate to apply fertilizer when the temperature is between 20 and 28 degrees, when the green algae are vigorous and the fertilizer will not deteriorate.

3. When fertilizing the water, be careful not to put in too much fertilizer: because the amount of green algae in a pond is limited, that is, the amount of fertilizer consumed per unit time is limited. If too much fertilizer is put in, the fertilizer will not be consumed in time and the water quality will be polluted. In order to avoid this situation, the author recommends that only 100 kilograms of fertilizer be put in each acre of fish pond, and fertilizing the water will not pollute the water quality.

When we raise silver carp, we must manage water and fertilizer. We can put 30% pig, cattle and sheep manure into the pond to facilitate the reproduction of floating objects in the pond.

For the breeding of silver carp, fertilizer and water are essential if you want to have good results. However, you should also pay attention to the concentration of fertilizer and water should not be too high, otherwise it will damage the growth environment of silver carp and lead to a decrease in growth rate.

For silver carp farming, if you want to fertilize the water effectively, you must ensure the normal accumulation of base fertilizer, and apply manure in March, and once in mid-June, and use relevant zero-nitrogen fertilizer around July; for silver carp farming, it is necessary to carry out corresponding fertilizer and water treatment in clean pond water, and put some nitrogen-containing feed into the pond water so that the green algae can absorb these nutrients.
