What are the food taboos for Burmese cats?

Food taboos for Burmese cats:

1. Burmese cats are carnivores. Meat and fish are high-phosphorus foods and rich in animal protein, but if they only eat these foods, they will suffer from calcium deficiency.

2. Do not feed Burmese cats irritating foods such as pepper, mustard, chili oil, etc.

3. Do not feed onions to Burmese cats, because onions will destroy the red blood cells of Burmese cats and cause anemia, which can even lead to the death of Burmese cats in severe cases.

4. Do not feed chicken bones to Burmese cats, because this type of food is difficult to digest and may hurt the stomach and intestines of Burmese cats.

5. Do not give Burmese cats milk. Cats cannot digest the lactose in milk, so milk may cause stomach discomfort or diarrhea. In addition to the mother's milk that kittens drink, it is not recommended for cats to drink milk.

6. Do not feed grapes and raisins to Burmese cats. Even a small amount of grapes and raisins can make cats sick and may even cause acute renal failure. Vomiting sometimes occurs within 12 hours of eating. Other symptoms may appear within 24 hours, including lethargy, diarrhea, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, decreased urine output, etc.

7. Do not feed raw eggs or raw meat to Burmese cats. Just like humans, cats may be infected with Salmonella or E. coli if they eat raw eggs or raw meat. The symptoms vary, and may include vomiting, diarrhea, and lethargy.
