Flies have the physiological characteristic of laying eggs for life after mating once. A female fly can lay eggs 5 to 6 times in her lifetime, with about 100 to 150 eggs laid each time, and up to 300 eggs at most. They can reproduce 10 to 12 generations in a year. It is generally difficult to eradicate them in farms. The drug control methods are as follows: (1) Drug killing: Commonly used fly killing drugs include dichlorvos and cypermethrin. Use the spray method to make flies contact with the drug or use the evaporation of the drug to poison and die. (2) Dichlorvos: It is a highly effective, fast-killing, broad-spectrum organophosphate insecticide. It has a strong insecticide effect. When fumigating flies, you can spray 1/300 dichlorvos emulsion per cubic meter of space at room temperature of 20°C, and it will have a good killing effect in 5 to 10 minutes. (3) Cypermethrin: It is the current first choice for killing flies. Its insecticide effect is characterized by rapid effect, safety, stable nature, and long residual effect. The dosage is 5-10 mg per square meter (i.e. 11 parts of 2.5% cypermethrin powder, add 250 parts of water, stir well, and spray at 50-100 mL per square meter), which can remain effective for 1-2 months. |
