CATDOLL: How do seafood stores temporarily raise shrimp?

1. How do seafood stores temporarily raise shrimps?

Breeding method: prepare an insulated box, make a small gap in the lid, put a wet towel on the bottom, then put the shrimp in the box, and put a layer of wet paper towel on the shrimp. The shrimp box needs to be added with an electric pump and a layer of net inside to allow the electric pump to ventilate the water.

Note: When a novice buys live shrimp, he needs to choose shrimp that are active in spirit. The suitable water temperature for the shrimp should be around 27-32℃. If the density of live shrimp is too high, oxygen should be added continuously.

2. How to keep Taihu No. 1 shrimp fresh?

The first method is to add sugar and freeze. Rinse the fresh prawns you bought with clean water and drain them. Prepare some sealed fresh-keeping boxes and put the drained prawns into the boxes. Put a layer of prawns and sprinkle a layer of sugar. You don't need too much sugar, just sprinkle it evenly. Sugar can lock in the moisture of the prawns and keep them fresh and enhance their flavor. After sealing, put them in the freezer of the refrigerator.

The second method is to freeze the prawns in mineral water bottles. Prepare some 500 ml mineral water bottles, which are just enough for one meal. If the bottles are too large, thawing and then freezing will also affect the quality of the prawns. Stuff the fresh prawns into the mineral water bottles one by one, but don't fill them too full, because water will expand when it freezes. Then fill the mineral water bottles with water, add an appropriate amount of salt, cover them tightly and put them in the freezer of the refrigerator. They will stay fresh for half a year. Sealed mineral water bottles can prevent water loss, and can also isolate odors and bacteria, making it convenient to take the prawns whenever you want to eat them.

3. How to keep fresh shrimp overnight?

1. Refrigerator. For live shrimps, you can also use a small amount of water and store them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh until the next day.

2. Oxygen pump. If you have an oxygen pump at home, you can use it to supply oxygen to the shrimps, which can last until the next day.

3. Foam box. Live shrimps can be placed in a foam box with ice and stored at low temperatures, ensuring that the foam box has sufficient oxygen and ventilation.

4. In a basin of water. The simplest way is to put the shrimp in a basin of water and leave it for the next day, but the number of survivors will not be as many as the number in the oxygen pump.

1. Put the live shrimp in the refrigerator and put some wet paper towels on it to preserve the live shrimp. This can prevent the shrimp from being frozen. Of course, you can't put the box directly into the refrigerator.

2. It is also possible to raise live shrimps in water at a slightly lower temperature, because live shrimps need low temperatures to survive well.

3. Feeding shrimps with sand, because shrimps live in the sand, creating a living environment for them will make the shrimps feel better and they can naturally survive well. This is more troublesome.

4. How to preserve the leftover Taihu No. 1 prawns?

If you can’t finish eating the shrimps, you can boil them in water first, then take them out, drain the water, put them in a plastic bag, and freeze them in the refrigerator.

To keep shrimps fresh, you need to clean them, put them in a stainless steel basin, add water, and then put them in the refrigerator. After the shrimps are frozen into ice cubes, they are broken up and then put into fresh-keeping bags and put in the refrigerator to be frozen again.

You can also put it in a packaging bag and vacuum out the air. Vacuum packaging is the method that can preserve it for the longest time, and it will still be fresh after opening.
