Longlao orange shrimp is very easy to breed, create a good lobster growth environment, feed reasonably and catch scientifically. 1. Pond conditions. The pond for breeding lobsters should not be too deep, generally not more than 1.5 meters, and the bank should have a certain slope, which is conducive to creating a water environment with a combination of depth and shallowness and different water temperatures. At the same time, it can make full use of light energy, increase water temperature, and promote lobster growth. New ponds should also be covered with a layer of 60 to 80 mesh polyolefin mesh around the slope or in the middle of the bank. 2. Plant aquatic plants. Many ponds for lobster farming are converted from fishing ponds and do not have any aquatic plants. In fact, lobsters, like shrimps and river crabs, also need aquatic plants. One of the reasons why some farmers fail in farming is that they do not plant aquatic plants. Aquatic plants can provide a hidden place for lobsters to live and molt, purify water quality, increase dissolved oxygen, and provide lobsters with fresh natural plant bait. The biggest benefit is that it reduces lobster cannibalism. 3. Feeding. Lobsters are omnivorous and like to eat animal bait. They are greedy and have a large appetite. Insufficient bait can easily lead to cannibalism. At present, the price of chicken, duck, pig and other livestock and poultry offal is cheap. Some farmers feed the livestock and poultry offal as a whole without mixing it evenly, which causes lobsters to fight with each other when feeding, and the water becomes black and smelly, which is very easy to cause disease. 4. Adjust the water quality. Although lobsters have strong survival ability and are resistant to low oxygen, fresh water quality is still one of the key factors for high yield of crayfish. In an environment with low dissolved oxygen, lobsters have a decreased appetite, grow slowly, and are prone to escape and disease. Once a large number of lobsters are found crawling to the shore or floating on the grass, the water should be changed immediately, especially in the middle and late stages of breeding. The water should be changed 1 to 2 times a week to maintain a high dissolved oxygen level in the water. 5. Disease prevention. Lobsters are highly resistant to diseases and are not prone to disease in natural waters. After high-density pond farming, improper management can easily lead to the occurrence of diseases, mainly ciliate disease, black gill disease and hemorrhagic disease. Prevention should be the main approach, and quicklime (20ppm) should be regularly sprayed throughout the pond, using it in turns. |
