How to breed water centipedes, also known as sand crawlers

The breeding method is as follows:

1. Keep the sandworms separately to avoid the possibility of all the worms dying when turning the boxes over. Divide the number of worms according to the amount used, which is more convenient to dig;

2. A breeding box with a large pot where the insects have strong vitality;

3. If the condition is poor, keep it in water and catch it as soon as possible within 2-3 days, because it will die quickly without sandworms.

Water centipede, perennial herb, clumps. The whole plant is smooth and hairless, and has a fragrance like calamus when fresh. The rhizome is weak, creeping and lying on the ground; it looks like a centipede, with many nodes, many fibrous roots under the nodes, and a small seedling on each node. The culms are scattered in rows, slender, 7-20cm high, flat triangular, and smooth. The leaves are narrow linear, 2-4mm wide, sheath-like at the base, and the bottom two leaf sheaths are dry and membranous. In summer, a spherical, yellow-green head inflorescence grows from the top of the culm, with a very large number of dense spikelets and three leaf-like bracts that are folded downward below, so it is also called "three-pod grass". The scales are membranous, and the keel-like protrusions on the back are wingless. The nuts are ovate and very small.

I know that as long as you are willing to invest, we can raise

Is it suitable to breed centipedes in Northeast China? Is it suitable to breed them indoors?

Suitable.

As long as the temperature and humidity are right, I feel that room temperature is fine.

The centipede breeding project is a project in which some technology companies sell centipede seedlings to investors and then collect adult centipedes from investors. The earliest domestic institution appeared in Henan in early 2000, and disappeared from the investment field for nearly three years after 2003. In early 2007, centipede breeding reappeared, and domestic related investment advertisements were dazzling.

Market Space Centipedes have been used as traditional animal Chinese medicinal materials for thousands of years. The country has always called for "vigorous capture of centipedes" every year, from the original seasonal capture and seasonal purchase to the current cross-seasonal capture and four-season purchase. The purchase price of each centipede has also soared from a few cents to more than 1.5 yuan, and the export price is even higher. In addition, the supply is insufficient to meet the demand, and the price is rising year by year. A once-in-a-century opportunity to intervene is coming from heaven.

Policy support The Party Central Committee attaches great importance to the "three rural issues" with increasing farmers' income as the core. The development of centipede breeding can not only earn foreign exchange for the country, but also meet the material needs of the people. Therefore, centipede breeding is the first choice for rural industrial adjustment, which increases farmers' income and helps farmers get rid of poverty and become rich. At the same time, it opens up a rare way to get rich for laid-off workers who find new jobs.

The investment threshold is low. Almost no investment is required except for the introduction of new species. It can be raised at home or in factory-based three-dimensional breeding. For general family feeding, vacant rooms, balconies, courtyards, front and back of houses can be used for breeding, and they can be raised in tanks, boxes, or ponds; large-scale breeding can be caged or three-dimensionally bred. Centipedes are docile in nature, and factory-based three-dimensional breeding of centipedes is currently the most efficient and fastest breeding method for centipede breeding. 5080 eggs are laid at a time, and constant temperature breeding lays eggs 23 times a year. Generally, one feeding can last for 2-3 days. There is basically no need to eat during the egg-laying period. Large-scale breeding can artificially breed bait, and natural breeding only requires wheat bran, vegetable leaves, fruits, insects, animal offal, bone meal, etc., with almost no cost. Centipedes have strong adaptability, vigorous vitality, and are not easy to get sick. Generally, they are fed at 6:00 pm and can be bred in their spare time.

The market is exaggerated. The country has never called for "vigorously catching centipedes", and the purchase and breeding of centipedes are seasonal. Most importantly, during the peak season, the market purchase price of centipedes is only 1 yuan per centipede, and the centipedes that can reach this price are all large wild centipedes. Artificially bred centipedes are only 30 or 40 cents each at most.

Although increasing farmers' income is a national concern, it has little to do with centipede farming. So far, no province or city in the country has any policy to support centipede farming. The so-called policy support is actually a cover for technology companies.

The investment is not small. Although the technology company stated in the promotional materials that investors only need to introduce species and almost no other investment is needed. But in fact, the investment of investors in introducing species is about 2-3 times higher than normal, that is, the technology company is earning high fees for introducing species. At the same time, when raising centipedes, a perfect feeding environment must be established, otherwise the centipedes will easily crawl out and hurt people. There are many such follow-up investments, which are 2 to 5 times the initial investment of investors. Not all regions are suitable for raising centipedes. Relatively speaking, the southern region is more suitable for raising centipedes.
