How to feed cats scientifically and healthily in summer

Recommended summer cat recipes:

1. Raw meat and bone meal, anyone can make it, even if you never cook. It includes: raw meat, organs, bones, fat, egg yolks, water and various supplements. It does not contain any carbohydrates. Cats do not need to eat any vegetarian food. Homemade can control the source of raw materials. The cost will be lower than canned food. Cat meal ground into meat paste is the most basic.

2. Whole chicken: Buy a whole chicken, remove the neck and spine. Use a larger meat grinder to grind the remaining parts into puree.

3. Chicken breast needs to be steamed and torn into strips for cats to eat. It is also very good for cats and helps supplement protein.

Precautions for feeding cats scientifically in summer:

1. Prevent heatstroke. After a cat has heatstroke, it will have a loss of appetite, a rise in body temperature, and then it will start to breathe heavily and walk unsteadily. To prevent heatstroke, you need to let them rest in a cool and ventilated place and replenish water.

2. Be careful when using air conditioning. Whether it is for people or cats, be careful not to set the temperature too low. Setting the temperature too low will easily catch a cold.

3. Never shave a cat. Many people think that shaving a cat’s hair will make it less hot in summer. But you must know that if a cat’s hair is shaved, its skin will be exposed to direct sunlight and cause sunburn, which will also make the cat depressed and insecure. Cats rely on their paw pads to dissipate heat. You can trim and thin the cat’s hair or paw pads appropriately to achieve better results.

4. Prevent skin diseases. Skin diseases are prevalent in summer. We must take good care of our cat’s hair while also paying attention to its skin health.

5. Do not use mosquito coils in rooms where cats are located. One of the ingredients in mosquito coils is pyrethrin. Pyrethrin may not cause much harm to us, but for cats, it can cause poisoning if they inhale it for a long time. Therefore, it should not be used in places where cats are located.
