CATDOLL: How many pounds of crabs are generally produced per mu, with breeding methods attached

The yield per mu of crabs is generally about 200 kilograms, but because of different factors such as breeding technology, the specific yield per mu of crabs needs to be determined based on actual conditions. In order to increase the yield per mu of crabs, it is necessary to provide them with sufficient protein feed and do a good job of disease prevention, disinfect them regularly, and when the oxygen supply is insufficient, it is necessary to increase oxygen in time to ensure a suitable growth environment, so as to ensure the yield of crabs.

1. How many kilograms of crabs are generally produced per mu?

1. Yield per mu

The crab yield per mu is generally around 200 kilograms, but due to differences in breeding techniques and other factors, the specific crab yield per mu needs to be determined based on actual conditions.

2. How to increase the per-acre yield of crabs

(1) Pay attention to supplementing crabs with sufficient protein feed to ensure that they have the nutrients they need for growth.

(2) Disease prevention and regular disinfection are required to ensure crab production. Oxygen should also be added in a timely manner to ensure that the crabs have a suitable living environment.

(3) When inspecting the breeding pond, if tadpoles and frog eggs are found, they must be cleaned up in time to prevent them from competing with crabs for nutrients, which would lead to poor growth of crabs.

2. Crab breeding methods

1. Prepare the breeding pond

(1) The breeding pond needs to be built in a place with sufficient sunlight and water resources. The height of the pond should be above 1m and the water depth should be 50cm. At the same time, anti-escape measures should be taken.

(2) Before releasing crabs, the pond needs to be cleaned and disinfected and an appropriate amount of aquatic plants need to be planted in the water. At the same time, crab farming equipment such as irrigation systems and drainage systems need to be configured.

2. Release crabs

(1) Choose crabs that are healthy, uninjured, intact, disease-free, and well-developed. Do not choose crabs that are injured or have difficulty breathing.

(2) Before releasing the crabs, place them in a corner of the pond for temporary breeding to allow them to adapt to the environment in the pond. After the crabs have adapted, they can be released into the pond. Generally, about 2,000 crabs can be raised per acre.

3. Feeding management

(1) Crabs can be fed with animal baits such as snails, earthworms, and livestock and poultry offal, and supplemented with appropriate amounts of plant baits such as soybeans, bean cakes, and rice bran.

(2) Feeding should be done at a fixed time, at a fixed location, with a fixed quantity and quality, and the amount of feeding should be adjusted reasonably according to factors such as season and temperature. For example, in summer and autumn, when the water temperature rises above 15°C, the fish can be fed once a day, and when the water temperature drops below 15°C, the fish can be fed once every other day or every few days.

4. Daily management

(1) Remove bait residues from the aquaculture pond promptly to prevent rotten bait from damaging the water quality.

(2) At the same time, you need to change the water regularly to ensure that the breeding water is clean and pollution-free. However, when changing the water, you cannot change all the water at once. Usually you can change part of the water first to avoid too much change in water temperature and water level, which will affect the growth of crabs.
