The egg sheath tank (bowl) is specially used for hatching egg sheaths. The method of making feeding soil in the hatching tank (bowl) is: first crush the cow dung, then sieve the cow dung and fine soil with a No. 3 sieve, then mix them in a ratio of half cow dung and half fine soil, and add a little water to adjust it to a damp feeling before using it in the tank (bowl). Egg sheaths from May to mid-August can hatch larvae in the same year, and a tank (bowl) should be set up every month. Egg sheaths after late August of the previous year and egg sheaths in May can all hatch into larvae by the end of July. After the larvae are hatched, first use a No. 2 sieve to sift out the egg shells, and then use a No. 3 sieve to sift out the larvae. After counting, they can be raised in situ until they shed their first skin, and then moved into the feeding pit for feeding. |
