Why are Siamese cats called the Prince of Cats?

Siamese cats are called the prince of cats because when they were first discovered in Thailand, they were only kept by royal families and temples. The royal family represents nobility and the temple represents holiness, so Siamese cats have always been regarded as a symbol of nobility and mystery. When Siamese cats walk, they are elegant and graceful, like a refined gentleman. When they were first introduced to Europe more than 200 years ago, they were very popular among the upper class and became the "darlings" of noble ladies.

Things to note when raising Siamese cats:

1. Keep warm. Siamese cats are native to Thailand, where the weather is hot all year round, so they are more sensitive to cold weather.

2. Comb the hair. In fact, there are two types of Siamese cats, one is short-haired and the other is long-haired. Long-haired Siamese cats need to be combed every day to prevent tangles so that they look clean and tidy. Short-haired Siamese cats also need to be combed, but not as frequently as long-haired Siamese cats.

3. Do a good job of deworming. It is generally recommended to deworm the body once every three months and deworm the body once a month.

4. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the environment. As an aristocratic cat, Siamese cats are very clean cats, so when raising them, in addition to ensuring that the living environment is clean and tidy, their food utensils must also be kept clean, and the litter box must be cleaned and the litter replaced regularly, otherwise the Siamese cat will be very disgusted.

5. Spend more time with Siamese cats. Siamese cats are known as "dogs among cats". They are very smart and can play the "you throw and I pick up" game with their owners. They are also very loyal to their owners.

6. Nutritionally balanced diet. Siamese cats are thin cats, so the staple cat food should be high in protein as much as possible.
