The transportation of clam seedlings can enjoy the green channel for agricultural and sideline products and is free of highway tolls.

Whether the clam seedlings can be provided free of charge depends on whether the local government supports it.

I'm not sure what kind of plant is this? It's the first time I've heard of it.

3. How to transport seafood

The transportation method of live seafood should be adapted to local conditions, with dry and wet methods being the main methods. In summary, there are roughly the following types.

1. Dry transportation Dry transportation is also called waterless transportation. It involves cooling the water to a temperature that causes the fish and shrimp to suspend their life activities, and then dehydrating them for transportation. After arriving at the destination, the fish and shrimp are put into the water and they will wake up again. In a dehydrated state, their lives can be maintained for more than 24 hours. This transportation method not only greatly improves the freshness of fish and shrimp, but also saves freight. It is an ideal transportation method. For example, Japanese shrimp, swimming crabs, lobsters, etc. can be transported in wooden boxes or foam boxes. For details, please refer to the section "Live transportation of lobsters".

2. Water spraying transportation is suitable for mussels, scallops, clams, oysters, blue crabs, etc. During transportation, they must be observed and sprayed with seawater regularly.

3. Canvas barrel transportation uses coarse canvas sewn into canvas barrels, most of which have a square bottom, and a few are round. The length and height can be determined according to the number of transport and the volume of the vehicle and ship, generally 0.8 to 1.2 meters. After being made, it is painted with paraffin and supported by an iron frame. The number of shipments can be determined according to the individual size of fish and shrimp, the water temperature, the length of transportation time and other conditions. Generally, about 100 kg of fish can be loaded per ton of water. It can be transported by train, car, carriage or ship. The water is changed during the journey to supplement oxygen. The water quality of the changed water must be treated in advance to avoid accidents. The general transportation distance can reach 6 days. If the barrel is frequently inflated or oxygenated, the transportation distance will be longer. This method is safe, but the cost of equipment is slightly higher. If the survival rate is high, it is still quite cost-effective.

4. Packaging and transportation with plastic bags: First disinfect the live fish and shrimp, put the prepared water into the plastic bag, then put the fish and shrimp into the bag according to different specifications and quantities, then squeeze out the air in the bag, fill it with an appropriate amount of oxygen, and tighten the bag with a rubber ring. Then put the plastic bag into a cardboard box, each box can hold 1 to 2 bags, it is best to use a foam box, in the summer when the temperature is high, you can put a small bag of ice in the box to cool it down. This method is currently widely used all over the world and has a high safety factor.

5. Frozen transport uses a special frozen transport box to transport live fish. The insulation of the general transport box is made of 20cm thick polyurethane board and stainless steel frame. About 100L of seawater and 90L of water are injected, and then the fish with a volume equivalent to 800L and 90L of ice are placed in the box. Before closing the box, add 30L of ice.

6. Drug transportation method: This method is more complicated and requires the guidance of professionals.

4. Does anyone know what is needed to transport seafood from coastal areas to inland cities? How to do it specifically and what are the general transportation routes? Thank you!

Generally, it is transported by truck, but can be transported by refrigerated container
